Good place

Nice staff, free breakfast, good rooms
This is a nice spot if you're passing through Ubon. I'd stay here again, they have mini fridges and electric kettles on the rooms as well.

A little bite run down

First room smell mold changed to another room. Second room, the air condition leaked during the night and many small bugs in the bath room and some in the room. Asked for change the third room. (I stay for 3 nights) the room was ok but the bugs still appeared in the night. Told the clean staff, she said she will taking care of it but still had the bugs all three nights. Staffs are nice.

The shabbiest place I ever stayed in Thailand

Awful. The place is advertised as with parking. There is no parking at all, parking is on the street right at the entrance of the market, arguably the worst possible parking place. I stayed 3 days and never had my room cleaned. Cocroaches in the room. Starcase probably last cleaned a few months ago. WiFi very intermittent. Basic breakfast. Will never go back again.

Shabby but not chic.
I didn't like this hotel and I would not recommend it. When I arrived no one came to help with my bags. No lift. The room was large, (2 rooms knocked into one), but very shabby. The bed linen and towels were clean, but rather gray. One towel was badly frayed along one edge. Coffee was available in the room, but one cup had 2 long cracks across the base. The room was originally 2 very small rooms. A wardrobe blocks where the entrance to the 2nd room would have been. The 2nd bathroom has been walled up, but there is a large hole into it which should have been covered by a mirror which was no longer fixed to the wall. There is a window through which you can see nothing. There are a lot water stains in the room and around the hotel generally. The bed was comfortable and I had a good night's sleep. The hotel is in a quiet location. There is a list of commandments beside the bed, but no information about the hotel or the local area. I went out in the evening to find somewhere to eat. I walked around all the local streets. Most shops were shuttered up with just a few clothes shops open. Further up the street away from the river is the only restaurant I could find. It is a little way past a bakery and cafe which was also open. The restaurant was very clean, and the food very good, but they specialise in stir-fry. I didn't find any other restaurant. Further up the same street is a 7 Eleven and a Tesco Express. I asked at reception for the wifi password but was told to use an unsecured router, despite the fact that my phone picked up several secure routers in the building with strong signals. I thought this rather strange. I didn't feel at all comfortable in this hotel and left early the next morning without taking the breakfast. When I checked out the staff were different to the previous day and were really quite pleasant. I was asked if I had a good night's sleep, which I did.

never again ... old, dirty and overpriced

location location location
This is a very old run down dirty hotel. Do not judge it by the photos as they must be very old. No lift, but that was ok. Stayed in a family suite as we are a family of three. Room was very old. Bed linen was old and had blood stains on it it several places. Pillow cases looked old and dirty. Apparent mucus deposits of the walls. Fluorescent light cut out after 5 mins and socket made a buzz. Staff attended to this but could not fix it. Wifi extremely slow on the 4th floor. Coffee cups at breakfast were dirty. The hotel has not been cleaned for ages there was dust everywhere. This is not a 3 star hotel. It is only a one star. The rate should only be 400 for a hotel in this condition. We will not be staying here again. I am retired and live in Thailand. I stay in lots of hotels in all price brackets but this hotel does not give value for money.
