great lake and view
secluded location, quiet, nice lake
great location. downside is dirt road leading to the hotel., they should at least pave the road. the lake is the highlight of the place. comfortable bed and room. shared kitchen between two units but this is not an issue.

Awesome unforgettable stay
Amazing views that looks over a lake - beautiful sunsets, Giant chess pieces, tranquillity and peacefulness
We stayed for 2 nights over the Easter Long weekend, and it was perfect, except the fact that we were given a handicapped room. Toilet had a bench and the sink is much smaller as compared to a normal room. Be sure to request for a non-handicapped room. Other than that, room was clean, tidy and neat. The adjoining kitchen was a tad annoying as we have to share a kettle, microwave and fridge with the suite next door. There was an awesome view of the lake with beautiful sunsets and sunrises. There were also giant chess, draughts and connect4 which was pretty fun! Also plenty of walkable trails within the property and we chanced upon cute ponies and kangaroos! Overall, it was an unforgettable and pleasant stay. We would definitely visit it again.

Pleasant
Location, Peaceful, Quiet
A nice stay, would have been better with wifi though. Also it would have been nicer if the restaurant was open for dinner rather than having to heat up meals

Great long weekend getaway from the city!
Tranquil location, feels like you're miles away but only 5 mins from Margaret River town centre, great staff and service
Our stay was memorable and we thoroughly recommend St Allard. Such a lovely spot, with remote country feel with Chalets alongside the lake. Our room was well equipped and had a nice view of the lake and sun set. An adjoining kitchenette was a useful feature too. The golf course is under repair but will be great when complete. The staff we all very friendly and service was always great. The meals in the restaurant were really good too - only downer was that it closes at 4pm. Dinner hampers or BBQ packs both to your liking can be ordered. We had a gourmet hamper which was full of great produce (we ended up bring some back to Perth!) and very good value.

a "resort" with no resort facilities
view, bed, bathroom
So-called resort with no pool or any other facilities, no fridge or tea-making facilities in the room, (in shared room between the chalets) far from the town on a gravel unlit road,no evening meal available, so had to take taxi from town, and the TV almost impossible to control.
