Very nice apartment, terrific customer service

Affordability, customer service, location
Arriving in a foreign town after a long flight on a Sunday morning, I was relieved that Stadihome opened their office just for my arrival. I arrived very early (8am) before check-in, and they put me in a different apartment (Vartha) that was ready and closer to my meetings and less than a block from the tram stop. Very nice place, hardwood floors, balcony overlooking the square, clean and equipped kitchen and clothes-washer. All for half the cost of a hotel. I loved it and appreciate the good customer service. If I ever return to Helsinki, this is where I will stay again.

Self Catering, free wifi
Had a good stay. Guess it depends on which apartment you end up in (think they're dotted around the city) but location was good for me. Parks close by, small supermarket close by as well. Much easier to rent a studio apartment here as it can be expensive to eat out all the time. Came for Rock the Beach festival and was within walking distance of Hietaniemi Beach as well as city centre (about 2kms at most), I don't mind walking. But trams and buses within a few hundred meters. Get the Helsinki card, will save a lot of money for attractions and transport
