Great place to stay

staff, location, room
We had a great stay at Stay Central. The staff, especially Katrina, was so helpful. We had forgotten our bag on our Airport link bus and she was so helpful trying to help us get it back. Then we needed a cable to charge our phone and she helped us to do that too. Thanks Katrina. The location of the hotel was great, far enough from the busy street but close enough that we could walk to it.

Lively hotel in Edinburgh's Old town

Comfy room, Prime Location, Reasonable Price
I got double room which is super large for me as solo traveller, the room condition was great, perfect. Only one thing is the problem with heater, I inform the staff but they come to fix soon after. The location was very good, right in the middle of the Old town, near the attraction (Edinburgh castle and National museum of Scotland). The room provided good tea corner with drinks, all you need for a shower. The room feel modern and clean. Recommended for everyone, I will surely re-visit the place again if I got a good price like this time.

Very nice hotel, restaurant and good location

Cleanliness, design and restaurant
Stay was very nice and had a good location just on the edge of the city center. The food at the restaurant was quite good. The bar was quite loud during the weekend which came up to the room and the blue lights from the window illuminated the room completely blue all night which may be inconvenient for light sleepers. Overall, a nice place to stay.

Big and spacious rooms

Spacious rooms, friendly staff, feels like home!
It was awesome! The rooms were big and spacious and were even wheelchair-friendly. Love the rainfall showers! Good range of tv channels too! Love the concept of the room as well. However, wifi was a bit hard to receive. Perhaps because we were located at the back of the hotel? The only place where I could get a strong signal was in the bathroom or seated next to the bathroom door. Also, the hotel was a bit of a walk from the city centre. You would have to navigate yourself to get to the hotel. We almost got lost. If you're carrying bulky items or multiple lugggages and with small children, I would highly recommend taking a cab to the hotel as the route to the hotel is not on flat terrain. Alternatively, there is a flat terrain but you would have to walk a longer distance and you would have to figure it out yourself (google maps did not indicate that we had to climb a hill to get to the location).

Great for the young at heart

Location, room amenities, bar next door
It's like a posh backpackers - hip and trendy feel with young staff and communal areas for guests to mingle, yet provides the privacy and quality amenities of a 4 star hotel (super comfy bed, extra choc mallow with coffee in the room and much better toiletries than some higher end hotels). Rooms bait small but had a spacious bathroom. Located in what felt like an area of student hostels and backpacker lodges, the pubs nearby were reasonably affordable - failing which, just head next door to the hotel's sister bar. 5mins walk to the royal mile and 10-15mins to train station and princes street for more public transport access, this is fantastic location. Walls are thin and there was a beer garden in the courtyard for World Cup so it did get pretty noisy.til late Might be different once the soccer s over though. Would definitely pick this again on my next trip there.

Brilliant Hotel

Location is good, Staff super friendly and Very clean room
I stay here often with business and it's perfect for a night or 2 stay. Clean rooms, very comfy and spacious bathroom. Nicely decorated and staff are very helpful. Walking distance to everywhere in the city centre. If staying with children ask for a higher floor as occasionally the noise can be loud.
