First place is far main road, very dark alley at night, rooms needs fixing.really over price compared to Panglao which is the main tourist attraction!!!Ceiling and walls needs fixing... Not cleaned properly rooms! Toilet is outside the rooms, has a safety issue, water heater has an exposed burn portions on equipment!!! Mostly owner is a bit rude, not polite, doesn't know how to handle customers!!!transportation at night to the hotel is an issue!!! Not within the European standards...will not recommend!

Short stay

The manager or owner, Boyd! The location on the river / near most of the activities in Loboc. And a t.v. that works in the bedroom.

We only stayed here for a night but it was a very nice experience compared to that of Alona beach. Here Boyd, the owner, greeted us and showed us to the room and addressed us by name and was prepared for us, and even though we only stayed the night, he was very pleasant and helpful the entire time. The place itself is situated on the Loboc river and is beautiful at night. The main building and some of the exterior was damaged in floods only a few months ago, but you would hardly notice that, and he is upgrading still further. A lot of credit is due to them for maintaining the place after such adversity. Regarding the food, it was grand. Took a while to arrive and when it came out it was typically small, but the taste and such was fine. There were many people eating at the same time and this may have added to the wait in time. The room was fine. We stayed in main building, and it was very tidy and our room was clean and suitable. I really wouldn't have any complaints. Considering the set backs of the past few months and years, i consider the place to be in great condition.

Great stay here and real feeling of staying in someone's home rather than a hotel. Owner is a really nice guy and will go out of his way to help guests with food requests, motorbike hire, lifts etc.

Tranquil surroundings, nice staff.

Our journey to the hotel was somewhat difficult, since the bridge leading to the resort has been destroyed by the major earthquake in 2013. So, we had to cross the river and after a short walk we arrived at Stefanie Grace. The floating hut we booked was no longer available so we were offered a standard room for a little more Pesos, which was very OK for us. The building was damaged by the earthquake as well but the Business was up and running anyway, with only minor limitations. Staff was great, especially Brian. We were enjoying dinner at Stefanie Grace everyday, since there are not really any other dining options around. The hotel is a great jump-off for Bohol's major sights: The Tarsiers (go there!), Chocolate Hills (you might go there.) and Panglao Island. In the end, we were very happy with our choice of location, preferring Loboc to Panglao Island, which is more the usual tourist hustle bustle with mediocre beach. Recommend staying at Stefanie Grace, but not for too long, since there is little around.
