Awesome location but noisy because of it

Location, location, location
We booked the hotel based on location and value offered. We had a Strand facing room which provided a great view and ventilation however was noisy at night. I like to sleep with either a window open or air conditioning for air flow so this resulted in a bit of disrupted sleep. I'll say though I would still prefer our street facing room than one of the courtyard or lane facing ones by the looks of the map. The bed was only a double but I'm sure that was listed on Agoda when we booked but didn't take notice. At least it was comfortable. Hair dryer was very poor, under powered, overheated and stopped after a short time. Minor things really. Overall one of the nicer hotels I've stayed in London at this price range and at a top location!

Central & Good Value

Value, Central and quality
Stayed here before. Comfortable, we picked this hotel for its central position for walking to most of the Landmarks. Nice rooms, couldn't do enough for you.

Strand the right location

The location, service, amenities
I always stay at the Strand when I am in London. I like the location, it is getting more expensive than it used to be. I have a single room some rooms are small but they are clean and well appointed. I have stayed there the past six tears and usually two or three times in the holiday. I like it there I just hope they don't price me out of staying there.

Excellent location, a good address for tourists

Location, hotel condition
A good address with an unbeatable location on the Strand, that would suit most tourist seeking value for money. Relatively big hotel; with lots of tourists. Clean room with simple amenities and quite small, but did the job. Friendly staff.

Strand Palace

Location, staff, cleanliness
Stay was good but hotel is looking tired. I tried booking direct but despite several emails the hotel was not able to match the 3rd party quotes despite me trying to book direct matching their rates.
