Okay if you have not tried a ryokan before

Central location, Ryokan experience, Free keychain souvenir

It was okay since i already have a great ryokan experience in Hakone. It is okay if it is your first time in a ryokan and want to experience it. But room is just normal, actually the walls might need some re-painting. Staff are very friendly, specially the guy who checked us in.

We had a fantastic time at this hotel. It is one of the most enjoyable hotels I have stayed at, and was one of the highlights of my trip. It is close to the train on the Ginza line, which can take you all the way across town (line ends are in Asakusa and Shibuya). The staff were fabulous, informative and accommodating. When we arrived they showed us to our room and made us tea, and gave us all the information about the hotel and the area. There is a curfew, which is pretty standard for Ryokans, but they also have ways to let you in with codes. The most relaxing thing was going to the public bath and then having green tea in the room. They give you some instructions and it is definitely worth it to stay here just to use the onsen, better than going to an expensive one elsewhere in the city. They have lots of art prints on walls and beautiful furniture and decor. Because it is in Asakusa, it is quiet and peaceful in the evening and night, so you don't feel like you're in a city. You also can walk through a thriving market full of shops and restaurants and pass the Asakusa temple on the way to the train every day. I couldn't have been happier.
