Renovations spoilt our stay
Location, cleanliness, Michelle in the office.
We stayed 3 nights at the "Gibson's Mill" apartments. Generally it was well equiped and comfortable. The apartment however felt a bit claustrophobic as there are no opening windows or view of any description.... But then again, it's a renovated old mill. The first night (Sat) we slept well but the next 2 mornings Mon and Tues, builders began at 7am, hammering and using power tools. It was impossible to sleep or even stay in the room. Even the maids commented on the racket. We told management but clearly it didn't matter enough to them to offer an alternative. The second morning, we called the after hours office number and the woman I spoke to was borderline rude, saying legally they can work at that hour. Too bad! So much for a get away to catch up on sleep and relaxation. I gather the noise was from next door BUT don't rent the rooms. P.S. $300 per night should buy you 2 coffee pods per day! Cheap! Maids told us to buy a pack of 10!!!!

Great location in a beautiful Town.
Size, Kitchen & contents, Towels & Robes
My stay was very pleasant. Apartment was well fitted & comfortable. Well situated to the harbor, easy walk to bars & restaurants The only thing I could fault with the IXL 2Bedroom apartment would be the level of noise within the apartment due to the neither bedroom being fully enclosed. It would have been beneficial if one bedroom was enclosed, reducing noise and adding privacy.
