Very nice for the right price

Clean, Comfortable, good price
We enjoyed our stay. The staff were very nice and accommodating. We got the room for a great price. Close to where we needed to go. We didn't have a meal so can't rate.

Good stay at Sullivans

Feeling secure, friendly helpful staff, cleanliness
I have stayed at Sullivan's many times since 2004; it is a good hotel, I have always felt safe whilst there. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Good food in the restaurant. I would recommend it highly.

Centrally located, but not sound proof

location, clean, friendly staff
Our two day stay was acceptable. It's an easy walk into the city and public transport was frequent and close by. The room was clean, but facilities were dated. The main issue was the lack of noise proofing. Traffic noise is expected that close to the city, but closing the window didn't make one iota of difference. On the second night, a guest decided that the perfect place to take a phone call at 2.30am was the corridor... the acoustics were such that - not only could we hear his side of the conversation, we could hear his caller as well. One of the house rules is that food and drink were not allowed in the rooms - specifically, smelly food such as take away's and alcohol. While this is understandable, it was a surprise. Be aware that onsite parking is limited to about 28 bays, which apparently is fine most weekdays, but is very 'hit and miss' on weekends. We had enquired and understood that parking was subject to availability, but alternative parking options weren't really disclosed at the time of enquiry. As a result, it was quite stressful to try and find street parking on the second night that was nearby.

Convenient location for me

Proximity to city, and Kings Park (if walking), room met our needs, could have eaten there if we wished.
Fine, no issues.
