Good hotel just a little outside main city of Rome

It's comfortable, has disability and travel friendly accommodations, is near a beautiful are with stores, bars, and transport.
Everything about the hotel is vey nice and comfortable and modern. Very clean all around, nice room, elevator- so it's traveler and disability friendly. It looks american in keeping with it's english-language name. The only thing that wasn't very nice was the treatment of the staff towards a problem. I was staying there one night just to pick up my girlfriend from the airport the next afternoon. I needed wifi badly, which was included, but is was so weak as to be non-existent in my room. When I reported this to the front desk at night the guy there seemed to resent my bringing it to his attention and after fidgeting with my phone a couple minutes said since I'm staying only one night I can tolerate not having wifi. All I wanted to know was where i can go to get better reception. The front desk girl in the morning behaved with identical resentment. Although, both of them offered to let me use the desk-computer after a couple minutes appearing frustrated with my request for a better wifi location. Generally, this is a very good stay if you're ok with being just a bit outside the city!!

Fawlty Towers?

This hotel is about 30+ mins from the city centre on what was usually a very crowded bus. When we arrived they gave us a small invalid room on the ground floor till we complained. The air conditioning in the hotel was not working. It took 24 hours to be fixed. The shower was blocked and water filled up the base and overflowed. Again it took a day to be fixed. The reception staff appeared to resent us mentioning this. Breakfasts were poor. Corn flakes, rice crispies and coco pops are not good for guests over 10 years old. The room was a reasonable size and the beds were fine. There is a spa on 5th floor.
Restaurant Tip: There is a nice restaurant across from the steps outside the hotel, and a really nice one if you take the first left and walk 70 meters.
