Was it breakfast?

Swimming pool
Breakfast sxxks to the max. Not a sincere breakfast making. Just want to attract you to stay in their hotel only.

Interesting Stay

Location and A Warm Security Staff
This must be one of the worse stays I had Probably I should have read more reviews before booking? Hahaha.. The hotel really looked very good in exterior. Location wise was great as it was within walking distance to Jusco. Rooms however was something that really shocked our group. We had 2 Family Rooms which was both similarly dirty. Bedsheets was spotted with dark stains, toilet was dirty with rusty metals holders, Shower cubicles was tight with dirty sliding doors and shower with a weak water flow. Upon entering the room, since we were going to change and rest, we decided to draw close the curtains. The entire curtain and rail came down in one of our room. When we called the front desk, the staff enquired whether it was just the curtain or the whole rail? Seems like this is a common problem as he was not surprised by this. Then come our next surprise, the staff that came by to fix the room just barged in without even knocking. Luckily we had placed the latch to the door and that stopped him from coming in directly. What kind of staff don’t even knock when accessing an occupied guest’s room? We also think that the housekeeping staff did not clean the room from the previous user. We found a half filled McDonald’s drink in the fridge in one room. The other room’s complimentary drinking water was discovered to be used and half drunk? The previous night’s plates and cutleries from the previous user’s dinner was also left along the corridor for a whole day. Not only the cleanliness is amiss, even the doors and walls was super thin so you can hear the kids playing in the pool during the afternoons as well as people returning at 4am to the adjacent rooms. Breakfast spread was quite sufficient for a budget hotel though they did serve burnt peanuts. The breakfast lounge was super small and tight, so do come to breakfast early. All in all, staying in Sutera Hotel was ‘interesting’ to say the least.

Cheap place to stay but not for more than 1 night.

Cheap, good location
Room is relatively clean but can be better. There was a shoe print stain on the White bedsheet. The washroom had a bad smell coming from the drainpipe. Furniture was old style, felt like I took a step back into the eighties. The exterior of the room, wall paint had stains n was really Spartan looking. This hotel definitely can do better.
