Ok for a few days stop over

Location, wifi in rooms, private rooms
We didn't have aircon in our room just a fan which made a lot of noise but didn't produce any cold air. Rooms were tiny. Come from there covered in bites. Believe it to be bed bugs. Staff were polite

Best Staff Award?
It seems like today every hotel can print a paper saying: "Best Staff Award" and hang it on the wall. To claim that you give a good service, you have to actually give it! Not just hang a piece of paper on the wall or write it in your website! Worst service ever! The staff kicked us out of the room at 5pm, because someone else had booked our room!!! I confirmed twice that we would stay longer at the hotel. But it seems there was a miscommunication between the staff, and they gave our room to someone else! Instead of repairing their mistake offering me another room, they only gave me two options, to pay a superior room (a very similar room but for a higher price) or leave! They did not even care that we were supposed to stay there for 7 days. My complaints were just ignored and they did not offer us any better solution.

Very good location

nice location with four railway stations nearby, plus bus stations! Many food downstairs. But no window for all dorms, ventilation is not good , but common area is well facilitated.

Great place!!

Location, clean, comfortable
Amazing location! Very clean and great common area to meet people. The rooms are small but who travels and sits in their room anyways! Staff is quiet but friendly and helpful when you need something. At first I thought there would be crowded bathrooms/showers as there are only two of each for all guests but it wa s never an issue. The location is the highlight of Suzies! Right in Chinatown and close to multiple transit options. Eat at Vinny Jayaas across from the KL bus station around the corner.

Great little gem in China town

The location. The price. The decent standards of cleanliness and utility.
I enjoyed my stay there. Wanting to experience backpackers style hostels again, we decided to rough it and go for one. This accommodation was clean and the staff were very helpful. The owner was always around and the place was an interesting melting pot for conversation. The wifi was good most times but for small blocks of time it was down. No shoes are allowed so the cleanliness is kept better. But the shared showers tend to be abit dirty especially if you return home late at 11pm or 12 am midnight as everyone else has showered and there is no night shift cleaning staff. I felt I wanted to wear slippers into the shower for self hygiene reasons during those late night showers but didn't due to the no shoes policy. The beds were quite worn in meaning it no longer has a solid support. It was sunken in the center probably from wear and tear and bring broken in by numerous tenants. So sleep wise the comfort was not as good. Aside from that the place is a gem. Hot water is available for hot showers and security seems adequate. I would go back if I wanted to stay in chinatown petaling street. It is afterall value for money and it has strong points on many fronts. I recommend this hostel 👍 The place deserves a solid 7
