really wanted to give a good review
I flew in and wanted to spend most of my trip in. Angeles...so I used fly the bus ...great service back and forth....on tiime and fast....so my. Last. Night I stayed at swagman...place is a dump ...bed was hard as. A rock...no one would wait on me in the restaurant...2 customers 6. employees....all clueless.... Told. The front desk when checking in I would use. The free service to the airport.at 3am...at 2:54. I go to the lobby.. front desk says. ...can I help you...yeah I am here for. The. Shuttle to the airport....oh no sir. ...they left....really...never. again

A work in progress
have been staying here 25 years and it has been deteriorating. Recently purchased, the new owner is doing some things that are really interesting and show great potential, but there were roaches in my room, some kind of larvae in my bed and the ham and cheese sandwich I ordered had minuscule ham or cheese. I expect it will improve but I won't go back to find out

Much better now
Since my last visit in 2014, SWAGMAN, has undergone renovations, which has improved the hotel immensely. The rooms are still basic, but much cleaner and tidier. They have a decent menu and the bar is open 24 hours! However, the breakfast could do with improvement by keeping it hot. By the time I was ready for mine, it was luke warm to cold. It is much better value now, but I would prefer it as a stop over for a few days rather than long term.

You don't need to worry for a ride to the hotel and back to the airport because they're there to provide you and it's free. Friendly, helpful staff. Good foods of course! We will back for sure!!!:)

Not so good
Close to where we wanted to be
The hotel is walking distance from the Riza Park and Manila Ocean Park But the wifi connection is so poor even in the hotel lobby. Most of the staff are so busy talking to one another than making their jobs, the hotel and the restaurant is very tiny that soooooo hard to move or pass then the CA is not adjustable and hot. We had to ask to get our room clean. There is no shelves space to set your staff just in floor and the surprise is I saw 2 cockroaches.
