Worse experience ever!
It was horrible! When I arrived, the room full of smoke smell! It's a non smoking smoke room but still smell disgusting! I asked them to change the room, they said they could only give me a room that is small than the one I booked! The internet was so bad because every 2 room have only one router! The room I stayed has no router and they said there is nothing they can do. The heater in the room is so loud that even I used ear plug, I still couldn't sleep at all. The bedroom is disgusting! Lastly, I forgot my stuff in the room when check out, when I asked after few hours, they told me they can't find it. I am 100% sure I left it right next to the bed, so they either throw it away or took it themselves. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE EVER! Definitely not up to 5 star hotel standard.

New adventure

Management, Staff, Location,
This rating comes solely from my first experience in Beijing. Traveling today poses obstacles whenever making an initial visit anywhere. Cultural differences and other issues arise whenever encountering difficulties on certain or specific expectations. Because of my unfamiliarity with the city, its people, customs, and other sorts, this complicated matters. While encountering those entanglements through frustration, the hotel staff responded well with compassion and assistance in whatever capacity allowed. Among the pluses are its location to mass transit stations and proximity to various amenities. The property contains most complimentary facilities; however, specific individual tastes arguably differ. Most comments read appear reasonable and where prospective businesses initiate contact or network.

Cost less than 100 rmb to the airport.

Convenient location. Restaurants are available. Friendly stuff.
The subway is 50 meters away from the hotel entrance. Tons of restaurants are available in 15 minutes walking distance or one train stop away to the north of the hotel. The first night, we walk to the south, wrong direction. no good food at all. The stuff is quite helpful. I left my glasses in the room, they helped me to find it.

nice location but thats it

centrally located, reasonable facilities
somewhat dated and in need of a refresh. There are still people soliciting around the back entrance of the hotel and late in the evening. good central location and easy to get to from the airport by subway.

Nice hotel but big autumn / spring problem

This hotel suited my stay very well except that in autumn and spring they don't have air conditioning or heating. When I checked in at 8.30PM my room was very warm. Switched on the AC and went straight out to for dinner. Returned at 10.30PM to find it even hotter. 31C! At first they suggested sending an engineer to check the AC. Then offered a fan to move the hot air around the room. Eventually the night manager arrived (past 11PM by now) and admitted they don't have AC at this time of year, and my room was on the sunny side of the hotel. On their website they claim AC and in the room guide they claim it so it is a blatant lie, at least for a few weeks a year. Finally, at 1130PM they offered to move me to a room on the shady side of the hotel. Still warm but just about bearable. I asked to speak to the GM the following day and was assured he would call me. He didn't! So I called him. First he lectured me for booking through and agency and paying $100 less than the room was worth. Then he lectured me for booking a basic room (it is a 5* hotel!) where I couldn't expect all the frills.. Finally I suggested we meet as I wanted to see such arrogance "in the flesh". In the lobby he was much more reasonable and admitted he may have been a little hasty regarding my booking. In the autumn they switch their AC over to heating ready for the winter and it takes a couple of weeks to do. Same in reverse in spring. If the weather is warm at this time of year they are too hot. In my opinion for a 5* hotel to have such a basic failing, and then try to cover it up, is extremely poor and for that reason they cannot be a 5* place. The manager apologised for his attitude and made amends (but not for the AC) by giving me a late checkout and a car to the airport.
