About Tadkham Village Hotel

Description

Named after the temple of the Wulaai community, this hotel stands out from its surroundings with the Lanna-inspired grand entrance. Located just outside the walls of the old city, the hotel is walking distance to the popular Sunday Market. Adventure seekers can go bungee jumping, rock climbing, and even rain forest adventure tours. For those looking for a quieter holiday, explore the famed Doi Suthep, take a trip to the hill tribe villages, and indulge in some spa treatments. Tadkham Village Hotel itself, despite being on the smaller side, includes a spa where guests have the option of treatments in the privacy of their rooms. Guests can enjoy breakfast in the open garden, and for lunch and dinner, you are never far from restaurants either in the city center or by the river. Despite a city center location, Tadkham Village Hotel is light on the pocket.

pleasant, peaceful stat at Tadkham Village Hotel
friendly, helpful staff, good location, relaxed atmosphere
We chose Tadkham hotel because it was near walking streets. We have stayed near the Night Bazaar but wanted a change. The hotel was peaceful and the lanna decoration and furniture were very pleasant. Breakfast was good and well presented. Like many of the hotels of this age, it could stand a bit of modernisation, but it has all the necessary facilities.

Great Chiang Mai Hotel
Location, Comfort of room, building design
Location is very good for getting to the walled city. The architecture of the hotel is really pleasant. The rooms were spacious enough, bed very hard (which we like) and very comfortable to stay in. We had a slight issue with a regular loud noise (from a water tank we think) that didn't let us sleep the first night. On mentioning to staff, we were offered a different room, in which we slept perfectly the following nights.
