Happy With Our Stay

The Location, The Staff, Value for Money
I love companies that value the evaluations of their clients and improve themselves as they go. I have read previously that the internet connection in the hotel is low-to-none, but when we stayed there, this wasn't a problem at all. I also read that there were no available hot shower in their rooms, but there was hot shower 24/7 during our stay. There was an on-going repair and repainting during our stay, so clearly there really is an effort on their part to level up. We found that shower head of our room was a bit defective, and we called for maintenance around 10pm, he came and had the shower head replaced right away at around 10pm. Our reservations did not include breakfast but when we asked for hot water for our coffee, it was at our doorstep in less than a minute. The staff is really courteous, very good at directions in and around Tagaytay, and the front desk clerk even let me use her cellphone when the landline I was calling was out of service.

Smell of the comfort room sucks

Just the location
I chose this hotel because of its location but I got disappointed when we checked in. We arrived at the hotel about 15 mins before the scheduled check in but we waited for an hour for the room to be available. The comfort room on their cafeteria is very dirty and not maintained well. The hot shower on our room is also not working well though they said they fixed it and is one of the reason for the delay. When we get into the room, it smell sucks and learnt that it came from an exhaust on the CR. We opened the CR door for a while hoping for the smell to be gone but nothing happened. Also, the bed is not so nice for me as it looks like for children only (you cannot sit straight on the bed because your head will hit the top deck, take note I'm just a very small person). Maybe I chose the Econo room but I think it's still not worth the money.

Just fine

location and nice staff
The booking was rushed so we did not have much choice. My kids didn't like it because it feels a bit old and too dark. We had the usual filipino breakfast but then they are nothing special. I ordered hot choco and paid for my kids breakfast, the cashier had to do a lot of erasures when I asked for an official receipt. We checked in really late and checked out really early because we'd rather go someplace else. Ergo, we did not feel at all comfortable to spend the rest of our hotel stay.

Just fine

good air conditioning, water supply & electricity
I took a twin bed with a maximum of 4 adults, but my expectation of free breakfast is only limited to 2 adults not 4 adults, thereby, I paid extra money for a breakfast of 1 adult (we are 3). I was not informed when I reserved, expecting that 4 adults is entitled for free breakfast. The door knob in the sleeping room is not functioning that if you accidentally pull and close the door (without locking it) from the inside you cannot open from the living room. Same as the main door, in our stay 2 of my companions were locked inside while i went out and upon returning, I cannot open the door but was temporarily attended by technician. We stayed at studio room No. 8.
