ferry ticket over charged

the sun,the sea and the dolphin
my booking was for 4 adults and 2 children but they charged me for 6 adults ferry ticket which is $70 more. when I check with them for a refund, they said I should claim from the booking agent (which is agoda in this case) and not them.

Great place but barge price too high

Location, facilities, activities
The barge price was very overpriced and the signage and resort info was very limited. For the free activities there wasn't much info on where to get the equipment from etc. The location was beautiful although we missed out on some activities due to minimum numbers req which was disappointing. The dolphin feeding was awesome.

Had a very enjoyable stay .

The closeness, the buffet and the lovely Staff
It was fabulous we had a great time and I'd certainly recommend it! The only fault we found was the uncomfortable beds , so hard to sleep ! Apart from that loved it .

Dolphin feeding experience

Dolphin, Whale watching, Eco-Walk
Was there during PH and everything with 15% surcharge on top of the already pricey rates. Limited activities to do during unless you don't mind paying for optional activities. Food selection are limited. Furnishing in resort is dated and will be better if they are refurbished in such a beautiful island. The whale watching included in our 2N package was great as we get to sight whales due to good weather. Ferry transport to island from Brisbane should be included in package if not for most tourist, how else can you get to the resort. Priced at AUD80 per pax for a return trip is too expensive.

A good resort for family holiday

Dolphin feeding; Chinese restaurant that fits our appetite; beautiful beach with panoramic sunset view
Very suited resort for family with young/teenage children because the resort comes with all sorts of activities suited for them. They provided the tools/equipment for all the sports activities in the resort for free (small security deposit applies) such as basketball, table tennis, badminton, archery, mini driving range etc. Additional tour packages available to nearby attractions at standard tour charges. So expect to spend more if you want to enjoy all the attractions. Breakfast varieties serve our family preferences. Dolphin feeding is very interesting and was the highlight of our trip there. We looked forward to feeding the dolphin very much except the feeding time was extremely short that we spent less than a minute to get in the water and feed the dolphin. Overly too many peoples reduced the feeding time tremendously. Another shortcoming is the in-room floor was not thoroughly cleaned as we could feel the sand on the floor when we walked around in the room.

Spectacular resort for vacation

Balcony with excellent beach and sea views. Great outdoor activities especially snorkeling at the wrecks. Spacious room to stay.
Less free of charge activities than I expected.

Sun Sea Sand

Tours, Beach, Dolphin
We had a family room for 3 nights, the view from the room was fantastic, we could sit there watching sunrise and sunset all day. The only setback is the lack of air conditioner and window in the bedroom, it could be very warm and stuffy in the daytime. Food served in the café and restaurants are overpriced, reception staff are not well-trained, some even very rude. Desert Safari, Dolphin feeding and 4WD quad bike ride are the MUST TRY activities. Beach is clean and sand is very soft to walk on.

Seafront living with a view worths millions

Beach, tours and
We have a family room at second floor of Block B for 3 nights. The sitting room is spacious with a large dining table beside the window that gives unblocked view to the beach. The bedroom has no window nor air conditioner. We need to keep going to reception for the daily milk and teabags/coffee, the staff were reluctant to attend to our request. Highly recommend tours are the desert safari where you can try the sand tobogganing, dolphin feeding and 4WD quad bike ride. Would like to try standing paddle and banana boat in our next visit. We spent most of our time in this wonderful beach with very fine sand and clean clear water, we even saw lots of fishes and starfish.
