Close to city centre (and bar), but (therefore) ex

Availability while during Sailing event and Food Festival all other inner city accommodations were booked; centrally located; free luggage room
When I looked for accomodation almost everything was booked in Hobart due to several events taking place in Hobart. I was thankful to find accomodation at Brunswick, apart from that I did not like the stay in the hostel. Maybe to a lot of requests, staff was responding slowly to my email requests. The kitchen is poor compared to other hostels. In the evening it is loud due tongue bar next door, which kind of shares the backyard. After one night I was happy to move back to a hostel (outside the city) I stayed in before - and which did not seem to rise prices dramatically during the city events,

Simple hotel in a great location

Location, price, food
Stayed 3 nights with the hotel. Loved the location as it is only 3mins walk to the airport shuttle bus and directly opposite to the shopping malls. I booked a room w ensuite bathroom. The room was simple but provided for my needs for the few days. Since it's a backpackers inn, thought there would be a common area for travellers to mingle but I didn't seem to locate one. There is nobody manning the reception from 9pm to 9am. You will need to drop the keys in the box if you checkout before 9am. The locker room is also closed during then. So, if you have an evening flight, and you need to checkout before 9am, you will need to bring your luggage along.

Nice place, great location

Good location (close to Woolworths and some recommend cafes also shopping places), great staff (was nice and helpful) and comfy rooms.
I stayed in a tripe room, which its for three people, my friends and I enjoyed the stay, the room is comfy with air-con, and provide towers and tea/coffee, also a fridge to store ur food, overall I think the room is great. And the location is good, close to every where in the city, the only thing I think it's a bit not useful is the internet over there, I think we have to share the Internet with all the people there, so it's really slow, so I end up using my own mobile data, besides that all its good.

It's ok

location, price, staff
It's quite old hotel. The room and kitchen is not quite clean. However, it's good location and not cheap to stay.
