Great location but average rooms

Great location
5
The rooms were only average, being a backpacker you accept the basics but for what they charge the showers could have been working properly.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Although not near the main road it's in a great location for the Yoga Barn and the wee walk to Monkey Forest Road. There's a lot of accommodation nearby too that's not advertised so keep that in mind.

Rooms could be cleaner.

None

Rooms could be cleaner. Staff was good but some of the feature of the room were bad, for example did not have hot shower, the door of the toilet is falling apart due to the water and it was not pleasant to look at while having a shower. I had to request for toilet paper and a towel for my use as it was not provided in the room. If you have no where to go and don't want something cheap, go here.

superworthy, warm and cozy

the staff are very nice
7.7
all the staff are very nice with patient explanation about Ubud. Also the place is nice and good location. The price is superworthy with the service you receive. Although I didn't receive twin beds like i expected, but they immediately fix the problem. Definitely I will come back next time.

Charming staff

Excellent value for money
6.7
Set around a quiet, exquisite inner courtyard the rooms each have a little verandah to sit on and contemplate. The style is true Balinese. Inside, the room was plain, but highly servicable. The size wasn't too bad and both the bedroom and en suite were clean. The staff were charming and willing, always eager to please. Overnight stay was excellent value for money. Breakfast was included. It was basic but, at that price, it was OK. Even though the hotel was (relatively) close to Monkey Forest Road, I ultimately had the the feeling that this was the "wrong end of town" in terms of proximity. But really, everything in Ubud is withing a (good) walking distance.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Make sure you get to walk amongst the rice fields, if possible (if they're still there, and haven't been built on). Ubud isn't all shopping and yoga.

a little oasis

The quiet location, friendly staff
9
this small family homestay is surprisingly quiet except for the occasional barking dog at night. the breakfast is superior to most more expensive places. the only negative point is that my adapter wouldn't stay in the plug which made recharging my laptop difficult. there is a constant supply of hot water to make tea or coffee when you want. you will have to buy your own milk which you can keep in the fridge.
Restaurant Tip: There are a couple of inexpensive organic wahrung in the same street and nearby Kafe on Hannoman has delicious food and will refill your plastic bottle with filtered water for a reasonable fee.

good price, nice garden but smelly room

good loccation, nice garden view from room, very helpful staffs, breakfast is served in room
7.7
the hotel is in walking distance to monkey forest and other attractions (batur lake, terrace rice fields, besakih temple) can be accessible by motorbike. the hotel is in renovation, perhaps thats the reason why my room has bad smell although their staff try to spray the smell away.
Nightlife Tip: the ubud palace where barong dance show is on in 7pm is near to the hotel

simple guesthouse

good location, simple room
6.3
My stay was ok, the room was clean, simple breakfast. The guesthouse is located in the center of ubud which is quite convenient. Only matter is when the asked me to pay for toilet paper.

Tidy, lovely garden and staff

Great breakfasts!
8.7
Our room was tidy and a reasonable size with chairs outside and a lovely garden area. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were great. Location was pretty good, about a 10- 15 min walk to main streets and markets. Would recommend this place.
