Tent hotel on Island of NE of Phuket
Relaxing, Interesting, Private beach
I highly recommend staying for a least one night. We enjoyed kayaking around the island. Be sure to arranged a boat pick-up or you will need to commandeer your own boat at the port. Also, they should lower their boat fee.

Lovely hotel and a great service
view, clean, great food, nice beach
We had a great stay at tentanakara hotel!! It was more than we have expect. Tha staff was very friendly and the food realy tastful. The beach was a bit dirty as they are not cleaning it ever. But it is a long sand beach and we had a grat swim every time. By low tie you can't swim but you can look for shells and crabs. If you have your tent close at al times you won't be getting any mosquitoes inside. We will be coming back to this place!!!
You have to bring enough cash with you beacause you can't pay with credit of other sorts of payment. And bring your own beachtowels, and enough anti mosquitoes gel or spray. Than you will be all right.

Gorgeous Place for pure Relaxing
Totally quiet, wonderful staff, great food, unique experience in Phuket
I discovered this place over Agoda and it was a huge surprise how I hit the mark with it. What a wonderful place. Warm, attentive staff, clean and comfortable tents, great and homemade food, own beach and very nice guests at all. We were talking to different other guests, all of them very much aware of the unique place we were staying. Very romantic, especially during full moon. Of course, because you're in the middle of the rainforest, in the evening time there are quite a lot of mosquitos. But if you bring your anti mosquito repellent its not a problem at all. Don't forget to bring a sarong or own beach towel, otherwise you have to pay a rent for the beach towels of the hotel. And please note that the prices for food are slightly higher than on Phuket island itself. But that's clear because they have to bring all the stuff from the big island or the mainland to the little island.

Do your research and enjoy the nature here!
we were looking for a quiet vacation away from noise and crowds of the city and this was exactly it. the views were amazing, even in the rain! tentanakara isn't your typical resort, so make sure you read the website before you book, but if you're up for a quiet holiday away from everything, this is definitely it. the owners and staff were kind and very accommodating, the rooms were clean, the bugs weren't bad and the beach was lovely.
Walk to the village and beach, but don't trust the dog, she seems to know the way but really she just wants to chase the chickens! The day beach was quite nice. It's expensive to get on and off the island so plan your time accordingly.

Good Staff, peaceful but at a price
would recommend for a max of 3 days. it is expensive. while tent only a night, expect to spend a lot more than that on food, drink etc.. e.g there are at least 50% - 100% more than the mainland. i would recommend a canoe trip at for a half day or for a day. also enjoyed fishing boat. bring a towel, torch etc.

Lovely and peaceful place,
the idea of a luxury tent to live an ecotourist holiday is a good idea. it's lovely to fall asleep with the sound of the sea and the birds.
the food is also very good and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
as you pay more than per night, than i would this is something that it should be improved as it is not confortable at all.

when i arrived to the airport i took a taxi to reach the marina, i got surprised that i had to pay for the hotel's boat to get there and it's costly (the charge for every time you want to go out).
if we want to book for any activity ,it should be throw the hotel(because there is no other place than it
, and any activity throw the hotel will be more than double the real price.
the menu there is poor and it's very expensive
lots of mosquito and there is no electricity at all , when they connect the power throw generator(in the restaurant only) and the close at 10 PM .
Hotel Feature Tip:
take lot's of money because there is no credit card machine and because it's costly

Fantastic experience, awesome accommodation
location, completely different to anything else, relaxing
I booked this based on other peoples reviews and because we wanted to be in the Pukhet area, but not around all the commercialisation. We definately made the right choice. Words can not describe the experience, you arrive at the island but long tail boat (you do have to pay for this each time you leave and return to the island), everything is wooden built, the hospitality is second to none and wen you are showen to your tent, wow :-0 You sleep in a tent on stilts and the bathroom is brick walled, but open air.
It is a very relaxing place and they helped us to organise all our trips (speed boat to James bond island and speed boat around Ko Phi Phi), I did this in advance through there website.
We would definately want to come back and stay here again.
There is no nightlife, you are on a small island, games and book reading is the extent of this, which was great for us, but does not suite everyone. The electricity generator goes off about 10pm, then it's oil lamps and torches
