Nice hotel
The hotel is very beautiful and quiet, it's really good for relaxing after working so hard. Stuffs are nice and kind one thing we don't like it there is the tub water, It was very brackish, me and my boyfriend felt a little bit itchy (but my mom and dad doesn't ) but for the rest were okay :) nice pool and breakfast anyway. Will looking forward to visiting there again. Thanks

Nice place but dark rooms
The rooms are very nice decorated and huge. We were blown away when we walked in. There was a slight musty smell but our biggest complain was that the rooms were dark, not allowing in much outside light. The swim out pool also connected to a large water way but didn't connect to the main pool which allowed for more privacy but made it so we didn't use it as much as we expected (just fyi).

Nice rustic feel, staff service could be improved.
We love the rustic feel and beautiful architecture of the resort, the big pool just outside of the villa (could be cold when there is no sun shining on it, which is most part of the day since it is well shaded by trees). Rooms seemed to be a bit old, but nothing major we should highlight. However, we thought the staff service could improve. We had to call / drop in 3 times to see if we can check out later due to late flight, but was told to wait or come back again as they need to check with manager, only to be refused on the 3rd time. (could have just said no at first if room was booked!) Evening turn down service was not as stated in their guest info book in room, the staff was in and out in less than 1 min, just to spray mosquito repellent and draw the curtains in a big hurry. Should update that book if they are no longer providing tea and other complimentary services during turn down. Good location in Kata, close to shops and food places. Nice resort and architecture, but staff service can really be improved especially for this price we paid.

Awesome
Decor, privacy, luxury
Stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. Beautiful villa. Rather expensive but value for money. Would help if the private Jacussi was heated and the swimming pool water was warmer. All the trees around the Villa made it private but dark and cold. They have a lovely swim up bar at one end of the long pool and a fountain at the other end which is just for the 12 Villas. However no-one used the pool, the bar or reached the waterfall as the water was so cold. The pool access rooms at the Sawasdee Village looked great. The village have their own pool which received a lot more sun. Baray Villa guests can use this pool but sun loungers were limited. There is a free shuttle bus to the beach.

good value but not a luxury hotel as expected
breakfast, huge bed, beautiful design
very well designed Asian style court yard and big room, however, it is not that luxury we thought if looking into the room details. Air-con was leaking which made the room very wet during night time, the shower room also leaked. Be aware of the additional fee for adding bed. it is not stated in the description on the website. we were only told the very high price, considering they basically just added bed sheet on the sofa and provide one more blanket, very near before departure. And I have to say the stuff did not really put it in a polite way.
