It is located on the seafront, directly opposite the famous Brighton Bandstand and very close to the West Pier and to the site of the proposed i360 attraction.

The property is just a short walk to Brighton’s main shopping areas. The Brighton Conference Centre is a five-minute stroll away, and the property is literally a stone’s throw from the beach. The Brighton Hotel is a privately owned independent hotel that is large enough to have all the facilities you would expect, but small enough to make you feel important.

The hotel’s elegant lounge, bar, and restaurant have enviable sea views, a great place to relax and watch the world go by. The hotel has 55 well-appointed rooms, and while the hotel is right on the famous Brighton seafront it is just far enough out of the main center’s noisy bars and clubs to be significantly quieter than many other seafront Brighton hotels.

awful, the room was falling apart

Sea view , location of hotel, place to park the car
Checked In reception was a nice clean area. Got keys for our room walked in the room , quite big. Put my bag down to look out the window , looked in bedroom . And we left the room. It was awful , the wall near the bay window was rotten , cracked , paint falling off it , the bathroom was old , like an old toilet block fr the 80s but they had painted over the tiles to clean it up. Awful ... Back to reception... . They changed our room to one of there suite .. New room but not perfect . Everything is half done . Bathroom was better ( this one was like the pictures on Internet ) but again just tatty , the bedroom had cracks , leak stains on ceiling and dust on the old noisey four poster bed was a joke. The towels are thin and hard ! The wifi code didn't work. And this room was a suite so is probably one of the better room. Sorry but this hotel needs the hotel inspectors in to revamp the timing thing. We still in Brighton to see friends a lot but will not be returning to this hotel. Our friends laughed when we told them the hotel we were in and actually asked how many rooms was had moved to before saying it was ok !! So it goes to show this is an ongoing thing and word of mouth is on the streets of Brighton !! The whole hotel needs the rooms sorting and finishing ( not just a lick of paint over old bathroom tiles etc) I wish u luck with the hotel and hope u manage to get some happy customers once it's all sorted....

Justin's wedding

Sea View; Comfy bed: Kind staff.
We stayed one night in order to attend our nephew's wedding. We were not supposed to log in until 3pm, but when we explained that we were supposed to be changed into best clothing and at the Town Hall for a wedding by three, they made sure that three rooms were available so that we could do so. They showed us how to find the station to pick up other members of our party, and the Town Hall for the ceremony. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were lovely.

Great location but disorganized

Location, able to get immediate taxi service, comfortable
My main complaint is that my room wasn't ready when I specified that I'd be arriving. In fact, a workman was still painting the window frame when I got there. Instead of putting me in a new room, they asked me to wait until 3:00 for that one (with fresh paint fumes?) and only gave me a different room then because he still wasn't finished painting at 3:00! I felt that this could have been handled better. Also it's not a very disabled-friendly building, and nothing seems to have been added to improve this aspect, such as wider corridors and ramps rather than all the narrow stairs.

Couldn't ask for more

Location was great, excellent value for money and friendly staff
Didn't spend much time in the hotel because - well - it's brighton! Great location, managed to park even though limited space (there was a charge I wasn't aware of but that's understandable). Staff were very helpful and friendly, the room was comfortable and clean, and the price was excellent. I didn't actually eat there so cannot comment on the food or dining. Absolutely would stay there again.

Perfectly Adequate

Location, Staff, Room Size.
The hotel is situated bang on the seafront more or less opposite the remains of the old pier and thus a short walk from the centre of Brighton. Check in was smooth and friendly, my room was a good size, very comfortable and with a sea view and small en suite shower room. There is a lift and a bar to the ground floor, parking is first come first serve and £15 per night. I was very satisfied with my one night stay although the hotel is somewhat tired looking and due for an overhaul.

Tiny bedroom

Good location
The hotel was clean and well organised, but my single bedroom is one of the smallest I have ever stayed in. It was no bigger than a cupboard. The shower room was also small and the floor was set on a pronounced angle. I only stayed one night, but certainly would not have stayed another in the same room. Although I have no reason to suspect it did not comply with the fire regulations I fear that in the event of a major fire my chances of escape would be very limited - I would actually have to climb up one level before reaching the fire escape. This is an old hotel and the interior appeared to be of wooden construction.
