Good location
Clean, nice rooms, good central location
we enjoyed our stay at the Bund. Good location, short walks to, peoples square, Yu garden, the riverfront. Rooms were comfortable and quiet. Hotel staff were also very helpful with providing site seeing suggestions, direction.

Highly recommended hotel for business travelers
Location, location and more... location again...
I been traveling to Shanghai for many years, and I stayed at many hotels in Shanghai too. I like this hotel very much mainly for the location. Since I like to walk up to a mile in the morning, this hotel is smack in the center of all the activities in the Huangpu district of Shanghai. I could walk to the Bund as easily as to the Shanghai Museum, People's Park, Yu Garden, Shanghai History museum, the Shanghai acrobatic troupe performance, Nanjing Lu, cinemas, and many shopping centers. This part of Shanghai is where all the exciting activities is at, and Bund Hotel is right in the center of it all. When you consider how affordable the cost of the hotel room and factor in the distance, you find that Bund hotel is probably the most cost effective hotel among all the hotels in this area, which is why I chose this hotel everytime I come back to Huangpu area of Shanghai. If you are an English speaking (or foreign travelers), I really recommend you stay at this hotel. Currency exchange is available here as well as helpful and courteous staff.

Great location. You get more for your money
Location, cost, and helpful staff
Great location. You could walk to the Bund easily, or the Nanjing Road, the museums (if you could walk up to 1.5 miles... you might as well view the city by walking and get your exercise at the same time)... basically you are right in the middle of all the attractions in Shanghai. I couldn't stress how convenient you are if you want to be close to Pudong area of Shanghai where all the action is at.
