Comfortable and relaxing

Location, staff, ambiance
Beautiful place to stay although it is in need of a make over. Is starting to look a little tied. Well looked after by attentive and friendly staff. I would have liked to have had tea and coffee making facilities available in our room. In the 5 weeks in UK, this was the only hotel that did not offer this facility.

Old style manor house

Clean comfortable classic
Very pleasant and peaceful. They brought me complimentary dessert each evening & the lobby has outstanding classic decor. A short walk from Kensington but slightly too suburban for the average tourist. Would recommend this boutique hotel to those craving quiet & calm.

Great location, very good service small room

Location and service
super location and an excellent staff. room was pretty small but given the fact its london, its the best one can do at us$ per day. though if compared to some of the other european cities, this should not cost more than us$ per day.

Great location.

Great location for visiting the V&A, Albert Hall, and Museums.
lovely hotel, good location. room service was ok however, after a long flight and taxi to the hotel we were told the kitchen was closed (10:30pm), even though the notice in the lift said it was open until 11pm. bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean

Lovely hotel but no dining room

Great location, friendly reception.
We didn't sample breakfast as we prefer not to eat in our room and breakfast was not included in our booking. However, there are convenient places for breakfast along the Old Brompton Road. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely "Botique" hotel - a great location

Quiet, excellent staff
Stayed in 8 small hotels over the 3 weeks we travelled through England and Ireland - this was the most luxurious. Wonderful staff - did miss coffee in the room.
