absolutely overrated hotel

very unpleasant, starting with rude staff, not working internet, smelly rooms with paper walls. If this hotel was rated 1 or 2-star, fair enough, that would be fine..But 4-star, absolutely not!!!

Probably the worst hotel room I have had in the UK

It was where I wanted to be and fairly clean.
I would not have made the booking if there was not wifi. When I arrived I asked and they said it was not working. Too late to go elsewhere. Check in was 100m away in another hotel. My ground floor single room was small, with a window facing a lightwell. The furniture was cramped, ill matched and looked like a store room. The tiny bathroom had no lavatory. This was outside in the corridor. There was no phone to complain. I went to the other hotel again and was offered another room on the first floor. This had an en suite lavatory but was even smaller; about 2.5m x 2.5m. The bathroom was 1.5m x 1.0m. There was a small, hard single bed with one lumpy pillow. The only other furniture was a dining chair and a shelf. The small built in wardrobe was too small to take an ironing board which stood in the corner. The only light was one small table lamp on the shelf; nothing by the bed. You had to leave the bathroom door open to see anything. The hot water jug was too small to fit under the tap to fill. The basin was minute and the shower too small to turn roundin. There was no cup to make coffee and again no telephone to complain. Thsi is supposed to be a four star hotel. I suspect the average prison cell is larger and more comfortable. When I went to check out and complain there was nobody at the desk. I waited and eventually had to give up. A complete disgrace as a four star hotel.

Good location but very different standard of the r

The hotel is located very close to Victoria station. I was first allocated a really dodgy room which was quiete overpriced, the internet didnt work and the bathroom was not good at all. I then comlained and was upgraded to a room in the mainbuidling which was much better. Unfourtently I have pay an extra fee for it. I dont think I gonna stay at this hotel again.

Again, London's hotel

One over a dozen... Kind of place were you check in at one place and sleep at 50m away from it... Romm size ok but the washroom was the same size as the one of a boat staff in sailing boat... Wifi supposed to work was not really performant. Everything is said... definitively not 4 stars

This was worst hotel stay I had in London -
On the second night, my room had a black out. Staff were trying to fix the problem, by talking over the phone to an electrician and unqualified staff were trying to fix by fiddling with main switches. I was worried that the staff do not get electocuted in the process and I have to be a witness to the accident. After about 2 hours they could not fix it. After arguing for about another hour, the duty manager made arrangements for an alternate room in another hotel about a mile away for one night. This caused lot of inconvienience and had to miss important appointment. On the next day I was hopeful the problem will be resolved. That did not happen and after some more of remote control electricians advice, some (not all) lights were restored. The room was stuffy and the window were sealed shut and could not be opened. There was no internat for full 6 nights - although the hotel staff were assuring us that it would be restored soon. While waiting at the lobby to fix my issues, another customer complained that some other customer entered his room while his wife was there - because the hotel staff had forgotten to cancel the key card of previous customer who was subsequently alloted another room. In my 30 years of travel, this was my worst experience.

Very bad customer services

The Eaton Square Hotel Belgravia
Just as good as sleeping under the roof. If there are marks for odiums , I might consider to rank the maximum. Very sorry to say this, but it was the truth.

Bad condition and service

Close proximity to Victoria Station is the good point
The staff service is really bad. The rooms do not have wifi at all. They only have wifi at their reception area and its 22 units away from where we are staying. Everyday when we asked them about the wifi, they will reply that they will reset it and work on it but after a week stay, we never had the chance to use their wifi at our rooms. One of the rooms which my travelmate was staying in had a blackout and the hotel staff wanted him to continue staying and to open the door so that the light from the corridor can lit up the room. This does not make sense considering that he may be using the washroom (which is dark) and privacy issues. They refuse to rearrange the accomodation for my travelmate until we argue with them for about an hour or so. They finally agreed to rearrange for my travel mate to stay at another hotel and to move back again the next day which was quite inconvenient. Basically, the only positive point about the hotel is its close proximity to Victoria Station which we paid a premium for. Other than that, they seriously has a staff service problem and the rooms are not very well maintained.
