What a great find!

Comfortable room, cleanliness, friendly staff

Very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Located about a block from the waterfront and just near The Parliament building. Easy walking distance to everything. We had booked a room with two queen beds for my son and myself. Hotel is in beautiful condition - I actually asked if it had been recently refurbished and was told 'no', although new beds and linen were installed earlier this year. Spotlessly clean, best shower, fridge in room and a wonderful cooked breakfast. We've stayed in 9 hotels in Canada in the last 12 days and this was by far the best for comfort, cleanliness, shower and breakfast.

Our 3-night stay went well. Room was spacious, free wifi, attentive guest services staff.

Reasonable value for the price

Close to the town centre, clean, friendly staff

The hotel was clean and comfortable. It is not luxurious. The hotel would have been built in the 1950s or 60s and not much has changed since. The furniture looks dated and the rooms are in need of redecorating and smartening up. The staff were friendly and obliging. The breakfast was quite good. The location is excellent - just across the road from the British Columbia parliament building and close to the harbour and bus stops. The tariff was reasonable.

Would stay here again!

This was my first time at the Embassy Inn Hotel and first time to Victoria during the high season. Embassy Inn was one of the cheaper options available in the Inner Harbor area and, although much more than I regularly pay for a hotel during the off-season, it was really nice. The location was excellent and the room was clean and big. The buffet breakfast was OK, not great, but was included in the price of the room. I would stay here again if my 'usual' cheaper options were not available.

A comfortable stay where the kids eat for free!

Free WiFi, free breakfast for kids, and free parking!

The stay was comfortable despite the smoke alarm issue, which was attended to and resolved the very next day after we informed the front desk. We recommend this hotel for those who want a good location for sightseeing, while watching their budget and staying connected with family overseas.

Although we only stayed one night, it was very clean, comfortable, quiet - no excessive street noise, and a perfect location to the downtown area and tourist destinations. Staff were extremely helpful.

The stay at the Embassy Inn was good. We loved Victoria and will definitely be going back for a longer stay. The hotel served as a good base and was easy walking distance to downtown or a nice evening walk along the coast.

Good tourist hotel in the heart of the city

Next to Provincial Parliament Buildings and just off the harbour the hotel has a wonderful location
7.3
the most exciting thing about embassy inn is its location, making it an ideal base for tourists to victoria. for the rest it does not distinguish itself in any particular aspect - neither positively nor negatively. but that seems to be its business strategy... and in the end give good value for money. the small swimming pool can be a welcome relief after a hot day touring victoria.

Great location and pretty good facilities

Right next door to the Parliament building

From a facilities point of view this hotel is nothing too special, but it is clean and everything you need is there, including a well-equipped kitchen. The hotel is right next door to the Parliament buildig so the location is awesome. Staff are really nice and I got an upgrade to a view room.
