Horrid room, mediocre food

staff was superb: helpful, patient and always good humoured.
The room was drab and musty. The restaurant was OK but nothing special. There is not much to do. The "wildlife safari" was just a drive along the public road through the park. From the moment I booked this stay, I started receiving unsolicited phone calls and spam emails from the King's Sanctuary. Not recommended.

It was pleasant

Scenic, tranquil, clean
It was truly a serene being here, the property is huge with lush green all around, added to this a child friendly resort with activities to keep the children engaged, with friendly staff special request are met at ease, a major plus point being that the resort is very close to Nagarahole forest. Was very lucky indeed to sight quite a few animals... altogether had a very pleasant stay.

Disappointing, room was lagoon view but no lagoon

Polite and attentive staff
Very disappointing considering the room rate paid. Plumbing poor, leaking. No hot water in bathroom. Hardly saw any wild life on safari and had to pay for the entire jeep as we were only one couple. Resort needs better maintenance and renovation. Staff was good, attentive, polite and friendly.

Very friendly staff, great place to relax

attentive staff, especially in kitchen and restaurant, quiet place, very natural
The stay was very nice, the staff was extremely friendly. As Europeans just adjusting to the Indian cuisine, the team in the restaurant pointed out foods well suited to our palate, and for our son prepared a few extra dishes without being esked, which he really loved. They even pointed out things to do and see at other places to make our stay as pleasant as possible, even if they had offers of their own ,but they felt we would get a better value elsewhere. Always the best for the customer in mind, thank you!

Excellent location with excellent staff

Clean, comfortable place to stay with excellent service from staff
Our stay at "The Kings Sanctury Resort" is filled with memories of clean and comfortable place to stay, spacious, fully furnished suite, wonderful staff who made every possible effort to make you comfortable and excellent food.
Travel tip: If you would like to stay near "Nagara Hole", then The Kings Sanctury Resort" is the best place to stay. Resort is just next to the entrance to Reserved forest, offers you modern aminities with excellent service and good food. Nearly 20 km travel from resort to forest's safarai office itself is a great "safari ride" itself. Good swimming pool and adventure sports add more fun, if you have kids.

The Best Alternative in the Area

Location next to the wildlife park, nestled in its own nature preserve, great service, beautiful pool, reasonable food
There is no real alternative close by the reserve. We were very satisfied with the facilities. The staff was helpful and friendly. The safari into the reserve was very enjoyable. The food was well prepared.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Do not miss the safari. It is well worth the cost.

Beautiful countryside, peaceful resort.

Location, helpful staff, huge rooms!
Previous safari was in Africa so was interested to see what India could provide. Resort fairly empty when we were there which meant staff could accommodate our individual excursions outside resort programme timetable. Excellent drive through local villages and farmland and knowledgable guide. Jeep Safari also good, as was food. Open roof bathroom with multiple stars wonderful!! Great swimming pool.

a nightmarish experience

the property- and the two ladies who run the hotel
read cons above. Our stay was a disaster- not worth a penny of the spend!!
Travel tip: avoid the santuary- dilapidated bus- no tiger sighting in months and months>
