Highly recommended
Spacious, characterful room, thoughtful inclusions
I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 night stay at this lovely old pub whilst visiting for a conference at the University of Adelaide. I was upgraded to a huge room, big enough to live in. The hotel has been sympathetically restored, preserving original features and adding funky designer touches. It's in a great spot, very close to Central Market and Chinatown, with a couple of good cafes on the doorstep and a free mini bar. Loved the huge verandah. Highly recommend.

Perfect
Located 10 mins from the airport. Facilities in the room were excellent. The hotel's across the road from the bus station which was perfect for me
Got there late so didnt have a long stay. The room was great with a very comfy bed. Facilities included drinks from the fridge, tea and coffee and a Goodie bag of snacks! All complimentary. The bathroom was roomy with plenty of acessories. Quirky place and really good

Special and beautiful place in Adelaide
design, bar, bikes
Probably the best boutique spot in Adelaide at the time of my visit. Really appreciated the little touches. Very unconventional (check in at the bar). May be too hip for some. I certainly felt it. But the bikes were a nice touch.

Decent enough very noisy, cold room and bad shower
Good staff, coffee machine in the room and the goodie bag we received at check-in
The room was good, with a comfortable bed and good coffee facilities but it was so cold it took most of the night to warm up. There wasn't any heating in the bathroom so it was absolutely freezing cold and to make matters worse the shower pressure was low and very hard to regulate the temperature, at best it alternated between boiling hot water and then switched to freezing cold so a very, very unpleasant experience. We aren't party poopers but if you want a good nights rest this is probably not the best hotel in Adelaide. There is a very loud bar below the rooms and as we stayed over on a Saturday evening we experienced the noisy revellers well after 12pm and some of our fellow residents decided that yelling at the top of their lungs at 1am and being generally boisterous in the hallway was a good way to end an evening. I would have liked to leave a shining review as our stay started out well with very friendly staff, but I am afraid it went rapidly down hill after that.

Cool city stay
Lively, cool design, good location
The hotel was well situated for walking the city. The room was very unique and the complimentary drinks and bits great. It can be a lively bar but just join in.

So fantastic i did not want to leve
Amazing staff, beautiful rooms, location
Located opposite the interstate bus terminal an airport shuttle, tram to beach and city, the Franklin Boutique is a little slice of comfort when travelling. The owners and staff have magnificent attention to detail, fll of information and very attentive. Upon arrival. (Slightly early) we were greater with our friendly host. Entering the accommodation section was exciting and the lage upgraded room was spacious with quirky design that made me feel like I had just stepped into a renovation show winning room. Large room with surrounding balcony, comfortable king size bed, large bathroom with double headed shower nd deep bth with lavish bathroom goodies. There was a bag o treats the mini bar was ours and the oner nd my boyfriend teed up some champagne and flowers for our arrival. The heart of the city is a 10 min stroll - rindless mall, casino and sporting/festival precinct. The delightful market just 5 mins cross the road and hop skip nd jump from the restaurants and nightlife of grote and Gouger streets. For a great breakfast, head up to he sister hotel whic ha a magnificent atmosphere , beer garden and Sunday dj. The tram to glenelg is only a 7 minute walk and 20 minutes to the beans. To unwind you get your place on. Private balcony and it really feels like a world away from it all. I m o glad we selected this over the star options because there I attention o the little things (free bikes and apples) cosy bed and pillows made for us never wanting to leave! We would highly recommend the Franklin Boutique. On the weekends there is liveliness donstrs but we barely heard a Sound from our room as it did not go too late. Enjoy .
