nice rooms but far from the city center

big rooms, big restrooms, big beds
my stay is quite good but it's very far from the city center. since it is away from the center, there's no nightlife, sight seeing and restaurants near it, but it is so quiet.

Comfortable and relaxing

Staff assistance; Ground floor room;
This is my fourth stay at this hotel and for location and price, it's the the one that I prefer to stay at. Whilst the bathroom is a bit sub-par, it was small but adequate. The staff here are really good and always happy to assist people who stay at their establishment.

nice place

close to toul tompoung market aka russian market & great services
the hotel is slightly far from the centre to get about but phnom penh is fairly small & you can get about with a tuk tuk or moto in 10-15 minutes. i only stopped over for one night, the hotel was clean & great value for money with great services. a couple minutes ride to the russian market, great place for picking up souvernirs & brick a brack items. plenty of cafes & restaurants near by. im not sure where the russian market name came about but most of the local known by its name "toul tompoung market" so some motos & tuktuk drivers might be puzzled when ask to take you to russian market.

The hotel is very far from the city

weird sound at night
The hotel is very far from the center of Phnom Penh so not many people speak English. When we stayed, we heard some laughing during the night.

freindly staff
it was nice choice to choose that hotel, the hotel is closed to the most beautiful scenery in the city, which your time full o0f organizing and planing where to go and what to see first,, i like hoe the hotel staff are very friendly and always smile for customer they eve can help us to buy cigarette from outside :) they have laundry service, the food price are reasonable and affordable, the room condition is OK for a solo traveler add that they offer DVD renting so your night will get more exiting :) i will try that hotel again because i enjoy staying there :)

Avoid this hotel if you can!!

It was close to the area we wanted to be in.
We checked in to this hotel, and the staff tried to give us lesser rooms than we had paid for. We only had to show them the documents from Agoda and that aspect was OK. Our room had not been cleaned, bed linen stained and dirty, and toilet disgusting. fortunately I had tea tree oil and I cleaned the bathroom myself. HOt water did not work, but we found that the unit needed resetting. We were also next to a bar that played loud music until early hours of morning. Late at night, we had our beds changed, but there were no sheets big enough. The staff member trying to help was very sweet, but not having much luck with the sheets. The sheet on my bed was too short by about 60cms. WE had 2 other rooms booked for our travelling companions and they were similar. Our friend had specks of blood on his sheets. The hotel had girls coming and going through the night, with lots of laughing noises and high heels on stairs. There was a side entrance off the lobby for this type of business. After complaining to Agoda, we were moved to another room the next day. Personally, I would have preferred to move to another hotel. The next room was somewhat cleaner, a bit quieter, but still a lot of night noises at times. There was not really anywhere for breakfast nearby, but we were ok, as we knew where to go for good cheap food. The front desk staff were polite and one young man in particular tried to be very obliging and I thank him. I cannot remember his name. I would not stay in this hotel again, although after the initial problems were ironed out, it was satisfactory, but overpriced for the quality.
