Great place but undermaintained

Spacious, great staff and big pool

Initially I was placed at the villa at far back near the spa. But the pool and bathroom are smelly, smell like a dead carcas so we request to relocate to another villa. They moved us to 2 rooms villa Ayodya1 without extra charges which is great. The ayodya1 is as i remmember it is as I have stayed here on 2012, unfortunately it looks so wear out and poorly maintaint. The wooden floors wear out, the toilet seat has lots of black spots and the pool has too much chlorine that it smells.

Overall good stay, location to far from Ubud with children, not many food options close by so we hire motorbike. Pond at entrance to villa very unmaintained and stagnant and smell of pigery a little off putting.

Good. Very nice and friendly service people. A small swimming pool is amazing. That's a very good exprience for us. I will remember this Resort forever. I will be there again next time. I should enjoy the good place and service with a better person.

There's only one villa named ASTINA, located first to receptionist on left side. Read full story below! I was located at the furthest villa on the right sides called ASHIMA, next to a spa area at the end of the road. There's a pigsty (pig cage) located next to ASHIMA, only separated by a wall (at most 2.5m high) so the smell was terible at the pool, kitchen, bathroom and even the bedroom. At my second pleading for a villa exchange, I'm told that the guest will be checking out at 9pm (unusual checkout time) and I can move in at 10pm. Definitely yes I said. It was a villa next to ASHIMA called AWATARA. Outdoor, the pigsty's smell was still faintly there but bedroom and openair bathroom was fine. Stayed there for the night, but we couldn't wait to leave the villa first thing tomorrow morning. Overall experiance at AWATARA was ok Personally I don't think they should sell AHIMA at all. And selling more than one ASTINA is completely unethical. Villa names on the right side from Hotel entrance: Indraloka Kahyangan Swarga Mahatma Awatara Ashima

Ruined our entire experience in Ubud

The villa area we had was spacious, and the shower had hot water.

Our stay at d'bulakan kampung ubud villa was horrendous! Just absolutely terrible. The photos shown on their page on Agoda are completely not what it is in real life! The room is creepy, dimly lit (and I SERIOUSLY mean dimly lit), and does not have the pretty roof depicted in the photos. There is no bathtub as shown either. The bathroom was only lit by two tiny LED picture lights. We could barely see anything at night! In fact, our porch and bathroom lights went out by themselves at about 9pm on both nights we were there and the staff couldn't do anything about it. The kitchenette had a wok that was a little badly maintained and sponges that were dirty. The pool next to the kitchen was mirky and dark and the vegetation around the pool (probably initially meant to make it look pretty) only made everything scarier cause it was just too dark everywhere! We had room service. It was atrocious. The villa was far from the city centre and it had limited shuttle schedule. We only had four options a day. Other than that we had to pay 50,000 IDR for each person for a one-way trip out of the villa. We ended up spending so much more than expected on transport that it ruined our plans for the next days. Our entire mood was ruined by our stay at the villa and the inconvenience of the lack of transport made our days at Ubud so mighty unenjoyable. Such a bad experience! Won't be back! Absolutely not!
