Best Taal Lake View Hotel

It was very comfortable and relaxing but would appreciate if when you expect 4 people on one room, should prep 4 towels without added charges. Thanks

Pleasant until checkout

Eeverything was ok until checkout. We came late and were just given keycards to enter the room. Upon checkout, we were informed that we are being charged for consuming peanuts and beer. We did not consume anything from the minibar, and since we were not accompanied inside, there was no one to check the inventory of the minibar. It was an embarrassing conversation to have. It was as if we were unwilling to pay for 200 pesos worth of items. However, I did not want to pay for principle's sake. The manager, Marvin, stepped in and "waived" the charges. However, it was not supposed to be there to begin with. I suggest the hotel take care of protocol to avoid future incidents like this..

Overall, our stay was very good. The staff was very friendly, accommodating and helpful. The bedrooms were very clean. The view was fantastic. The amenities included were great. The food was really good too. Lots of variety for their breakfast. There are lots of options to keep kids and adults alike occupied. The location is also very close to everything. This hotel is comparable to nice hotels I've stayed at in the US and EU. Although, the traffic was really terrible because we came during peak season. On an off peak season, I'll definitely stay at this hotel again. A couple things that they can improve on: 1) anticipating the guests needs (If 4 people were checked in a room then provide enough towels for each guest.) 2) check out process can be more organize (It took them too long (~30 min) to check us out and gave us the wrong envelope for our deposit.) 3) The ladies at the reception desks should smile more. The bell boys were more welcoming, smiled more and seemed friendlier than the ladies. Thanks for a wonderful time. I'll definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

Great view

There is a good view of the lake especially from the executive lounge. Buffet breakfast offered a variety of food. Worth it. Facilities are well maintained.

standard rooms are not ideal as they have a tiny window and are located in the lower floors. best to get rooms higher than the standard but at least fits three people comfortably.
