comfortable stay for a good price

the staff was friendly and attentive. the room was comfy and cosy. its well known by the cab drivers
This hotel looked a bit dated but its was comfortable and cosy. The staff were very attentive and their service was impeccable. The bell boy who helped us with our luggages on the day we arrived could remember which room we were in. (Probably due to the tips we gave... =p) He made an effort to talk to us whist we were waiting for our taxi and even told us a bit about himself. The room could have been a bit bigger but it was still comfortable with a well furnished bathroom. The service staff were accomodating with our requests for extra blankets and towels. Would stay here again if the opportunity arises again.

My stay at The Landis

Friendly staff; nice rooms, good location
I didn't like the Breakfast Buffet at all: The coffee tastes terrible and there is no Musli available. The good thing is that there is a Coffee Shop within the hotel that sells Lavazza Latte & Cappuccino. They are slow, but make great coffee and have a very good bakery / cake selection.

Good hotel for Taiwan standards

Helpful and attentive staff, breakfast buffet, location
Good hotel but I would rate this hotel a 4 star. Very nice but not on par with many western 5 star hotels.

Great staff

breakfast, staff, room comfort
The staff were a great help in improving my stay. I booked a single room (at a discounted price through Agoda) and, unfortunately, it was the middle of summer and the room had mildew smell. Although this is not to uncommon in Asia in the summer time, it's not what I was prepared for. The hotel staff agreed and offered an upgraded room, which was excellent - made my 3-day stay very enjoyable. Would definitely stay again. Noticed too that my original room was being carefully cleaned the next day.

Good size room, great service

Value for money, great service, comfortable room
The room size is big and lavish, nice décor and comfortable bed mattress. Amenities are of good quality and toilet bowl with bidel is a nice addition. Service received at reception, bell service is superb. Walking distance to good restaurants for local or other cuisines.
