Definately would stay here again.

Clean , friendly & professional staff, open all the time , good location.
Stayed here a week and really enjoyed the hotel. Good are to use as a base to see New York. Taxi's out the front all the time and they are cheap.Very clean & comfortable rooms. Two minutes to Hop on Hop off bus stop...great way to see NY
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Yep....use the hop on hop off tours wherever you go!!!

Great location

Location - very central to shopping and sights
concierge was excellent and really helpful in all areas. starbucks located in the lobby. wifi only available in the lobby and the price for usage in the room was very high.

Great and friendly service! 10 points!

Good location, value for money
Location is great.
Restaurant Tip: The area, i was especially fond off in NYC, is Lower East Side. Great bars, excellent restaurants especially considering value for your money.

Hotel with a good location

Perfect location
The hotel is located in middle of Manhattan. Price is you get what you pay for. Coming from Europe, the tipping system is very hard to accept. Where i come from you tip if you are well trated and if you get a good service.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Every thing is very close by, within walking distance, both for shopping and sight seeing and we suggest use of city tour busses.

Fair enough

I stay here due to the acceptable mix of location (distance to my HQ offices) and price (I got my room for approx which in New York is on the lower side).

perfect hotel for a great economical stay in nyc

Decent rooms, excellent location, easily accessible.
the hotel was a great an economical option. i have stayed here a couple of years earlier, the hotel is pretty much the same as it was back when i had come earlier, the rooms seem to have improved allot! they have really nice beds which you can electronically alter the settings and the hotel is very centrally located. i would definitely suggest someone to stay here when traveling on a budget! the staff are friendly, cordial and easy to deal with. no real complaints. remember, you have to tip in nyc, it's kind of an unsaid mandatory requirement in whichever hotel / restaurant you go to!
Restaurant Tip: there is a restaurant on the 34th street at 6th avenue called vezzo vezzo. it is by far, the best pizza's i have ever had. it's barely a cab ride away from the hotel. there obviously are many other famous attractions near by, nyc is beautiful to walk in and during the snow, especially for us who live in the heat in india!

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: walking distance to central station

Radisson, NY

Location: Extremely close to many of Manhattan's most notable sights.
My first piece of advice for travelers staying here is to avoid rooms on the lower floors. There seems to be a nightclub very nearby that opens until the very early hours (4-5am) on Thu, Fri, and Sat at least, and it is difficult to get good shut-eye. Also, as with everything in NYC, expect to pay way over the odds for something very standard. Although we got a good price for our stay here, it was still vastly overpriced. The bathroom facilities are old (there were also no toothbrushes or paste provided), the room was small, and bedsheets were thin even though February was upon us, unleashing overnight temperatures of -10C. On the plus side, and probably the reason the hotel is priced as it is, the Radisson is exceptionally close to most sights the average traveler is usually keen to see. The UN building is a few blocks away, Times Square is a stone's throw, and a short subway ride will get you to Ground Zero, the Statue of Liberty, Madison Square Garden, and all areas of Fifth Avenue. Advice: Pay a little more to get a hotel in the same area that will provide you with more up-to-date facilities.

Radisson Lexington New York

good location, within walking distance of the metro and tourist spots such as UN and rockefeller centre. Bed was good.
The hotel is within walking distance of the nearest metro and only one transfer and one additional station was required if taking the air train from JFK airport. Staff was sometimes too busy and did not notice when other customers required help. Room was tiny and was next to the crew lounge. We had to vacate on the final night to a different room as the restaurant above was leaking. Front desk was good that they offered a discount for the inconvenience. Location is good as it is within walking distance to many places.
Hotel Feature Tip: This hotel is very convenient to get to if you don't have a lot of luggage and can just take the air train and transfer to 51st street metro. The hotel is just 2 streets away.
