Good location

Friendly hotel, wi-fi worked well
Good place to stay within easy walking distance of the water front, shops & temples. Hotel was clean, staff friendly & helpful. Wi-fi was reliable. No fridge in the room but we were able to borrow a mini cooler - free. Breakfast adequate Worth the stay.

Well kept Hotel

Nice variety for breakfast spread
The hotel is near the city area. it about 10 to 15 minutes walk to the new shopping centre Merdeka Plaza. The reception is very helpful. They helped to arranged some of our tour bookings like half day cultural village tour and kayaking tour. . Overall a good stay.
Restaurant Tip: Should try the massage Mirage it's really good. It's between the Hilton and Pullman hotel. Should also try the seafood TopSpot. It's one of the locals favourite place to eat.

Excellent hotel choice for Kuching

Great service, good location and relaxing rooftop bar
We found the Lime Tree Hotel to be a great place to stay. The staff are very helpful, the rooms are very clean and the buffet breakfast was diverse. The hotel has a great rooftop bar for relaxing in the evening. We also booked a tour through the reception and it was very enjoyable and a good price.
Hotel Feature Tip: Visit the rooftop bar for a pre dinner cocktail, our favourite was the apple daquiri

Worth your money

Nice bodyfoam and shampoo. Their lime juice also taste delicious
Shopping complex and eateries are just within walking distance. The staffs are all helpful and friendly. Wifi password and complimentary drink are given upon check in. Check out the transport rate at the front desk as it's cheaper than taxi
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: It's around China Town but if you walk a bit further, you'll reach India town

Small room but has all the essentials

very near to the famous kolok mee/laksa shop
room is small but comfortable. it is smoke free hotel so the room does not have smell. the best part is the hotel provides free welcome drink at the lounge located at the rooftop. wifi password is given upon checking in to the hotel and it save the hassle. hotel also provide shuttle service to airport/town with reasonable fare but required advance booking.
Restaurant Tip: Near to famous Laksa/Kolok Mee restaurant 泉春.

Nice hotel, decent price, very nice staff

Clean large room
Overall happy with the Lime Tree Hotel for the price I paid. My only complaint is the bathroom smelled funny. I think it was the sewage system. My kids couldn't smell anything amiss. Otherwise clean and new furnishings. Breakfast decent. Would stay there again if visiting Kuching.

Very Nice Boutique Hotel - Great Service

Clean, helpful staff, large rooms
Kuching, translated from Malay means cat, and as we strolled along the river that runs through the city there were statues of cats in front of buildings and on every street corner. My wife and I stayed at the Limetree, a little boutique hotel that has staked its fame on the look, smell and taste of limes. The drink you get handed when you walk through the door is a refreshing glass of “lime”nade. The green soap and shampoo in the shower smell like lime and the fruit bowls in the lime green and white reception area are full of big beautiful limes. We liked it very much. This 3-day rest stop in Kuching, Malaysia was really just about preparing to go to see the orangutans on the Indonesian side of Borneo in the Tanjung Puting National Park of Central Kalimantan. We already acquired our Indonesian visas in Kota Kinabalu because we read that it was difficult to obtain them in Kuching. We washed clothes, repacked our bags, got massages, and had great fresh seafood at the Top Spot Food Court. (Thai spiced red snapper and grilled prawns in butter and garlic)
Restaurant Tip: Top Spot Food Court restaurant #8. (Thai spiced red snapper and grilled prawns in butter and garlic)
