experience
The hotel itself has a charming character but the service was awful. I had to ask hotel staff to make up my room 3x in same day and they still did not do it. There was no hot water in our room and when we asked to do something about it we were just ignored. Bathroom was extremely filthy and there were many mosquitos in the room. I was bitten by mosquitos many times and I hope I will not get as consequence lasting souvenir from there in form of malaria. There was no working wi fi so we could not connect to internet. Luckily we booked a room there only for 2 nights and our happiest moment was when we finally checked out.

Short Stay
Location, Friendly, accomadating
The short stay was pleasant for the price paid. The ambiance was relaxing as it stuck well to it's Japanese Garden theme. The staff were very, very pleasant and helpful. They tended to our needs ASAP. Our room was supposed to be the suite, however, there were some issues with the water. No problem with us. We were then showed a different room-the Garden view room. A bit confused of where the bathroom/shower was-it was outside in the mini garden. Quite impressed and it definitely sold us. I mean who wouldn't wanna shower outdoors in the buff with nature. They even provided some citronella for those pesty mosquitoes. You may have some other visitors while out there (lizards and frogs), but don't be afraid they're just helping out with the mosquitoes ;) But I did have some qualms about the room. The room was a bit dated, didn't bother us. Not enough outlets-made it work. My biggest issue-Sheets were stained & AC unit was weak. But, We asked for a fan and didn't make a big fuss-we were out of the room most of the time. Wifi only available in lobby. No safe in the room. The hotel grounds is beautiful for what and where it is, some minor up-keeing is needed on the ponds. BUT, Stay at the Lotus Garden Hotel if you aren't the type to freak out about everything. All in all great stay. Pros: -close to airport -close to restaurants and establishments (50peso tricycle ride just about everywhere) -Friendly staff -free breakfast -Relatively safe area Cons: -Weak AC -dirty sheets -wifi in outdoor lobby

Lovely stay
Room, hotel design, staff
Stayed here two nights before leaving for El Nido. Lovely hotel, nice environment, good location. Double room/cottage was large and comfortable with unique outside private ensuite shower. Nice idea, made for a pleasant stay. Some noise from early evening flights and local resto bar abit later but nothing to disturb me or put me off visiting again and just as expected for central location. Hotel helped arrange my tour to underground river and onward bus to El Nido. Not always cheapest way to arrange but certainly most convenient and saved me roaming the many tour shops so I was happy for the help. Would recommend hotel. Thanks to the staff for making me feel welcome.

Very Old and Dated
Airport transfer, location, Service
Rooms are very old and most of the ACs are not working. Very noisy establishment right beside it so if you are a light sleeper better pass. No generators for the frequent power interruptions in the area. The only good thing was that the staff tried their best and were very polite when we asked to switch rooms however, the hotel is old and moldy. We had to move hotels after the first night.

Nature hotel
Customer service, ambience, location
The location is very near the airport and beside Ka Lui restaurant famous restaurant in the city which serves great food and value for money. It is so popular you have to book your reservations. Lotus customer service is great. Thanks to Mary Grace. The landscaping is magnificent and therapeutic. There is serenity. Highly recommended.

Near Airport, Beside Ka Lui, Friendly Staff
Location, Staff, Ambiance
There were a lot of Negative reviews about Lotus Garden but i am easy to please so i really do not give negative reviews easily. The staff of Lotus Garden were friendly. The room we got was big and it had an outdoor bathroom. There are obvious signs of wear and tear but it did not really matter. I really liked how the hotel looked like. It had an exotic design which i really liked.
