The restaurant is located in an extension of the foyer, the rattan ceilinged dining room offers a space open to welcome the cooling air and is surrounded by a large veranda overlooking the gardens.
A vast, inviting slate pool offers a refreshing retreat. Replicas of rattan umbrellas, once used by explorers ridding elephants through the Laotian hills, were designed by Francois Greek, and offer shade over sun beds.
