wonderful fading glory in a glorious beach setting
it's style, albeit fading, and it's standards with service and food
Expansive, light, almost Greek Island, room (Junior Suite)high above the bay of Hai Narn with an instantly relaxing feel.

Quiet get away for a couple
big breakfast after lovely sleep is great with the view and open space
Stayed for three nights and could have stayed longer. My fiance and I relaxed and felt very comfortable at the hotel. We both got massages in the spa and the service there was great. (Tip the masseuse after if it is great for u.) Breakfast was always satisfying with attentive service and endless coffee, etc. if wanted. Dinner can be lovely, too, but two night we went out and down the street to a well-lit local restaurant for some variety and walking. The beach is there, but the pool at the hotel is great for lounging and cooling off. I hope we can go again.

Nice architecture, fits perfectly in the location
Nice view from the rooms and the outlets. Nice private and furnished terraces in the rooms
Perfect place to relax, luxurious environment, safe, good choice of restaurants. Nice pool. The part of the beach allocated to the hotel is very small. No privacy, as everyone very close to each other. the beach furniture is rotten and should be changed. The hotel staff was ok but gave the impression of beeing tired of all the tourists. Thailand seems to change in terms of attitude of people. They are less welcoming than before.

The place is fantastic. Great service, great beach
every room has really good view and balcony, beach is very nice, not crowded with people
Been to Bangkok, Hua Hin and Phuket in 9 days and this hotel definitely stands out. Best room fitting and views, nice beach and very friendly staff. Will recommand to friends and will definitely pay another visit some other time.

Great location
Cuisine and service are excellant
i believe the hotel was built in 1984 but it is now really starting to look its age. for the prices that are charged, it is definately in need of a total refurbishment. the whole decor is out of date and the furniture is looking rather tired.

Marvellous hotel with brilliant service
the arcitechture
five star hotell with excellent service from arrival to check-out. high-class breakfast with very attentive still discrete service. two top class restaurants with good food, first class service and stunning view over the nai harn bay. the rooms in the hotel ar top class, in spite of the fact that the hotel was build in 1986 and the terrace in conjunction with every room giving a felling of privacy that was unbeatable. the location in the south of phuket is perfect, especially for couples looking for relaxation, however a few nice restaurants are located just outside the hotel area.

Great location overlooking a bay, balcony in room
every room, restaurant has a great view of the bay
- rooms are spacious with a great balcony (bigger than the room) - lovely restauarant, good breakfast spread, great view of the bay - lovely beach right next to the hotel, not crowded, small lagoon as well - the location is at the southern most top of the island. Be prepared to travel a long distance to Patong, etc and pay for the taxis.

Spectacular location an really classy
The rooms are huge, and the sight from the balcony breathtaking
My parents, my girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The whole hotel is beautifully decorated. The sorroundings are astonishing, with a calm an almost private beach for the hotel with nice sunset views. It's even possible to surf at the beach!! It was really calm, which we were really looking for, even though that means that you'll have to spend a bit more money if you want to visit other places in the island. The rooms we got were extremely spacious, with a big and nice balcony looking towards the beach (all of them do). The view got me everyday chilling everyday there at sunset, can't explain... We didn't try the hotels restaurant, so can't say anything about it, but the breakfast was also great. Big variety in food.

Rustic hotel with very pleasant staff.
Nice open breakfast area.
nice hotel with a lot of history. the manager introduced himself upon arrival and gave some information about the hotel. we were upgraded to a suite room which was nice with a very large balcony overlooking nai harn beach. unofrtunately the weather wasn't to good when we were there so that spoiled things a little bit, but the beach area is ideal for young children. the hotel and beach is a little out of the way from anything else so transport is essential but that wasn't a problem.

brilliant hotel
views, staff, services, restaurants, drinks, spa, ambience etc etc etc
when we arrived in phuket, we initially stayed in patong, but hated every minute. we made some enquiries and found the royal phuket yacht club, as we wanted some 5* luxury. we definitely found it here. the hotel is beautifully located with a private beach and each room has an amazing view from the big balconies. the room was spacious and very comfortable. the restaurants served good, traditional food and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. the on site spa was excellent, but quite expensive. there was a small pool, which overlooked the bay. although it was hardly used throughout the day by hotel guests. breakfast was included and was of a high standard. we would highly recommend the hotel and their cocktails.
