Our stay at Naka was terribly disappointing and not worth the money. Upon arrival, we were being informed that our booking is for a suite room and not a pool villa (which we had booked earlier with agoda). Despite the 2 type of rooms cost the same amount of money but we still had to pay THB8000 to upgrade to a pool villa. When we were ungraded to a pool villa we found the villa itself is very worn out and not in good condition. The bathtub and the pool wasn't cleaned during our stay and the whole place is filled with dust. The villa has no privacy at all as all villas are overlooking each other and you can actually see straight inside the bedrooms and bathrooms when you are at he balcony or walk by. The staff is badly lacked of training and not professional at all for a 5 stars hotel. Their breakfast is not much of variety and the food quality is bad which is definitely not the standard of a 5 stars hotel. Besides the private beach which is beautiful, there is absolutely nothing else there we can do. The whole resort is very quiet and dark at night. The villa itself is also very dark with very poor lighting and my wife she was afraid of using the toilet at night which is located at the far end of the room. We will never ever be back again or recommend to anyone.

Poor maintenance, food and service
Poor maintenance: half lights inside room are burnt; door bell doesn't work; out of hot water; fuse box keeps tripping; few pool lights are burnt; key card doesn't work but no one follow up Food: less choices for room serivce Service: lack of communication between staffs; didn't follow up even though I have had emailed upon the request

Everything was good except for service..
The Naka Phuket would seem to be a haven at first sight, however after the first night, you will realise that it ain't that glitzy. The service was poor, from the room cleaning to calling for the buggy to go to the lobby, pretty poor for a 5 star... On top of that, the breakfast was poor.. FLIES EVERYWHERE! The lack of hygiene is apparent and the flies just land all over the food and cutlery... Disappointing to be honest. In summary, if you don't have breakfast and you don't mind having a lack or towels, the Naka would be amazing. P.S. Remember to check out the beach, full of hermit crabs.

Great but suffered in bad weather
The food at the Naka is superb, extremely good value for excellent dining. Due to very bad thunderstorms the phones and wifi service was down for most of our stay, and was a huge inconvenience as I needed to remain connected although on holiday. Everything else was superb.
