Pleasantly Surprised
We liked this hotel very much when we stayed here for the graduation of our son from Ateneo High School. All the lobby staff were very polite and accommodating. The room itself was not big or fancy but very adequate. It had 3 single beds, airconditioner, electric kettle, cable TV, free wi-fi, small refrigerator, free bottled water and coffee, adequate closet space and a window facing the rear of the property. The beds, including the extra bed, were firm and nice to sleep on. The pillows were also large and soft. There was plenty of hot water for the shower, and complete set of toiletries. The bathroom was modern, clean and cool. We were most impressed by the fact that the housekeeping staff cleaned the room and turned down the beds in the early evening. We were out of the room at that time, but they turned on the airconditioner in anticipation of our return that night. The free breakfast was conducted in Roku (before it opened in the morning). The food was the usual Filipino breakfast (longganisa, danggit, tocino, tapa), fried egg, fried rice, fresh fruits and coffee. Again, nothing fancy but quite adequate and pleasant. Roku, the Japanese restaurant in the 5th floor, was also nice for dinner. Downstairs in the 1st floor, there is a Korean dessert cafe, where we had the best patbingsu we ever tasted. There is also a dessert buffet restaurant at the 3rd floor, but we did not get to eat there anymore. Despite the fact that this hotel is just across the street from Ateneo and right in the middle of Katipunan where traffic is ever-present, being in Oracle is like being in another world. The experience is almost 5-star because of the service and completeness of facilities. The only thing missing are recreational facilities like a swimming pool, gym, sauna, tennis courts, gardens, and the like. On the other hand, the Oracle is not a resort but a hotel with a purpose. We will definitely stay there again next time we need to be near Ateneo, and we will recommend it to

Excellent service from all staff
Their staff are courteous, friendly, helpful. If the security guard sees you with shopping bags, they will go all out to help bring the heavy stuffs for you right to your door step! There were always exchanges of hellos and good byes when we see them. They will go out of their way to make your stay so delightful.

Tired and not good for me
Hotel description photographs are out of date. It is now tired. My shower ran cold water only, the aircon was so noisy I could not sleep, there was a staff are or closet that backed on my room so a fair bit of noise.... I decided to move to another hotel. I emailed to cancel the remainder of the booking TWICE, I have never received a reply and have not received any form of refund even goodwill so I have lost 2 money for 2 nights. I am not happy as I feel they are misrepresenting their hotel. And no contact from management appears to prove this. So totally ignored by management I would not recommend this hotel.

'Oracle Highly Recommended'
Excellent Staff...great customer service ..including security guard...house keeping...front desk...especially Ian and Ana. The location is just accross gate 3 of Ateneo de Manila .
Although this is not a 4star hotel,Oracle, through its major effort to provide a clean and comfortable room and its extremely helpful and hospitable staff performs above its level. This affordable hotel was perfect for us because of its proximity to Ateneo de Manila and the good eating and shopping available in the katipunan/loyola heights area.
