2 weeks stay in Mae Ann and the Pavana

Location, Gardens, Swimming pool
We stayed at this hotel because we were visiting family who live on the same village rather than the hotel facilities, however the apartment we had was very clean, spacious and the air conditioning was very good, which is absolutely essential. The gardens and pool are really lovely, and I did have a spa day which was excellent.

Detox trip that did not involve detox

location (only if you prefer quiet surrounding) , healthy food, friendly attitude from staff
It was a pleasant stay. People are nice and food is healthy. Meditation session is something very unique. One point is that, the actual activities are far more than the list in the website. Website may need to be updated.

Tranquil retreat

Quality of the room, tranquility, grounds
We wanted a couple of days North of the city to enjoy the scenery. The hotel is certainly tranquil and we saw only a few other guests and had the outdoor pool and restaurant all to ourselves. The grounds are well maintained and our 2 bedroom villa was superb, had a great balcony and provided plenty of room for a family of 4. The hotel provided us with an opportunity to chill before continuing our travel.

It is very good, they really take good care of u when u r in detox and there is a book in the room which u can read and it is a good good book . People have to come here and read this book ,it is for your Heath .the hotel is very big but I think the pool is not big enough. The staff is very polite. Food is good too

Fantastic affordable detox experience

Friendly staff, great organic foods, detox programs
I really enjoyed my stay at the Spa Resort Chiang Mai. If you bear in mind this is a 4-star hotel, then everything was superb. I did a long weekend there and wish I can stay longer. I wanted to a short getaway for a detox cleanse and some yoga, and this is the perfect place. There was a schedule but it's up to you to follow - I like the fact it wasn't military strict. The colema was DIY though which was a little daunting at first but I am glad I learnt the setup and in the end, it was the sort of thing I am glad I did in the comfort of my own room. The pool area was small but never crowded. Even though I did a juice cleanse, I had the opportunity to have some raw foods before I left and also saw what others ate, and it was very good. Staff were super nice and if it wasn't because I didn't have any baht on me, I would have tipped them well. Spa was also very good, it's not super cheap but it's still affordable. Other hotel guests were all very friendly too and I met a few nice people so great for a solo traveller.

Just 3 Star room

Nothing impressive
We booked 2 bedroom villa. There was nothing impressive in this resort as it claims as 4 star. We found out that the room was owned by a private owner, not the resort. When the owner is out of town, the owner just rent the room out. That's why the facility in the room was not well maintained. It is not worth of your money to spend for this kind of room.
