Not a 5 star hotel

Location location location
Air conditioning in the room did not work. Sink had hair in it. The bar had run out on tonic and also kingfisher beer and they tried to charge 900 rupees for wi fi when we could not even get on to the Internet. Not like any 5 star hotels I have stayed at, the only good thing is the location.

Disappointed to come back

It's near metro and transportation available easily
It was very disappointing, I have been staying in this hotel since it was Hilton this was my 5th stay in total and 2nd since they changed to Piccadilly. First stay was not ok but this time was disappointing. I was allowed early checkin and late checkout Which was kind of them my room air condition was not functioning about which I made complain the first day but they didn't fix it nor they offered to change my room, breakfast is very basic and average it's nothing close to what 5* hotels offer staff is not very courteous. Rooms are dirty and dusty not sure if they even vacuum everyday. Over all very unpleasant stay and I decide to not go back

Piccadily hotel New Delhi

Breakfast timing, housekeeping, location
Waited 3 hours for check-in, rooms not ready. Staff were unfriendly. Rooms were booked with free Wi-Fi but they tried to charge us. Had to speak to the manager to obtain free wi fi. Room service very slow. Had to call several times before being attended. No ID was asked for first stay by check-in staff. When we returned the following week passports and credit card was supplied which is normal. But they also wanted OCI. When I refused to supply they threaten to cancel our booking. I stated OCI was for airport only. It is unlikely we would stay at this hotel again.

4 star hotel

Bed, room
On check in there was only one member of staff at reception and 10 or more guests waiting to check in. Despite asking specifically in advance and again at check-in for a room away from the huge building site (which is on the back side of the hotel) we were given a room by the building site. I tried to change money and there were no rupees available. There was a mosquito in the room. The light next to the bed had no bulb in it. Despite booking an extra bed no bed was in the room. I had to call three times, and wait over an hour for the bed to be delivered. The room itself wasn't bad and the bed and linen were comfortable, but there were old stains on the sheets. Overall not great and I would not stay there again.
