Boring & Insincere!
One word to describe the hotel - Boring!. One word to describe the staffs - Insincere! - Need to pay for car park facility (one time charge). Why? Never have I paid for parking in Malaysia. - Complimentary drinking water only for 1st night stay. What? You mean if I stay for a few nights I will have to boil my own drinking water which I am not sure of the hotel water hygiene? - No face towel provided. Housekeeping staff tells me to use tissue paper to dry my face. WTF?!?!? The bath towel is usually soaking wet after shower. So use paper instead for your face.

The hotel owners need to restore this gem
This is a lovely hotel that has been painstakingly maintained by a splendid and devoted staff; but its age is showing. The owners need to invest in restoring 30-years of wear-tear. My room had a bathroom door, curtain and ceiling that needed attention badly even though it was spotless. The housekeeping staff are trying their best to keep these worn-out facilities going. The neighbourhood is being replaced by taller towers so we can only wonder if the reason for the owners' neglect may be the option to rebuild?
