Great location & service.

Good service, great food and presentation.

Our favourite hotel by far during our entire trip in Cambodia. Staff were so nice. They smiled and tried really hard to please. Love the presentation of the food. The decor of the hotel - so arty and so lovely. Beautiful rooms and bathroom. Love the use of space. The fan, the chairs - wow. Would have loved for the aromatherapy oil burner to be put on though. Wifi connection is great. Rooftop bar is brilliant. Breakfast to die for - fresh and yummy. And restaurant staff very efficient.
Hotel Feature Tip: The large beds are a huge plus. So comfy and luxurious. Just love the room.

Excellent location & modern style

Perfect location to see the tourist sites, provides great people watching on the riverfront, and spacious balcony rooms
8.7
Hotel is in a vibrant part of town, with sites, restaurants, and bars nearby (walkable). The modern style was lovely and created spacious rooms with a balcony. There are lots of high tech gadgets and a large contemporary bathroom. Delicious breakfast included with the room.
Restaurant Tip: Friends Restaurant--creative tapas dinner for a great cause. Staff are former street children learning hospitality skills. Close to the hotel, would recommend reservations.

Looks pretty, from afar.

Rooftop swim spa (claimed pool) with bar service

Room was mouldy, poorly finished, and somewhat dirty. It looked like a lot of good ideas had been thrown together and built by people who just didn't know how to do it properly and as such the end product was far from advertised. To be fair staff tried to clean mould, but given the extent of the issue, failed. We did get a tasty plate of tropical fruit on arrival; I'm not sure it won me over though. Poolside service was fantastic, cocktails were the tastiest in Phenom Penh, but also possibly the most expensive. Breakfast was appalling; a two hour wait for stale cold croissant, uncooked egg, still uncooked egg once it was sent back to be cooked, stale carrot and walnut bread, unhelpful wait staff, local ice put in drinks without asking us first. I will not stay here again - I'd stay at the riverside palace instead; cheaper, better quality throughout, and fantastic service.... a refreshing change after this hotel!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Carry a sign that says "No money, no tuk tuk, no massage". It will make life in Cambodia much easier.

Great location, lovely room and friendly

Wonderful location, local people know this small hotel well.

I can think of only good things to say, except that our room has no windle. A must place to go is the roof top garden to enjoy the sunset by the river and happy hour till 8:00PM.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Book bus at the hotel for trip to Siem Reap.

Modern, comfortable, convenient

Good location, spacious room with interesting outlook

modern styling is functional and aesthetic (except for the exterior which is a major discontinuity with the colonial facade of adjacent buildings). great outlook with curtain glass wall accessing (almost) private balcony with interesting outlook over boulevard and river. convenient location offering choice to either walk to some of the main sight seeing spots or take a tuk tuk / taxi. room had grandstand view of new years eve fireworks (ho chi minh style).
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Stroll along the waterfront to the palace is very pleasant in the cooler evening.

big rooms, great location

we loved the surrounding area, easy to get around, good restaurants, etc...
5.7
This hotel is cute and funky, but it doesn't seem like there's anyone around making sure the details are being looked after; the rooms felt dirty, card key didn't really work, service at the rooftop was hit or miss, staff at breakfast seemed confused, etc...
Restaurant Tip: Several good restaurants in the immediate vicinity. There are better options in the Street 51 vicinit, we particularly enjoyed Taqueria Corona.

Highly Disappointing - Faded and Poorly Managed

Modern Architecture
4.3
Based on the Travel & Leisure review, we had great expectations and were extremely disappointed upon arrival. The feeling we got was that the facilities must've been excellent at one point but now the pillows were stained, towels were not provided and the rugs and mattresses tattered. The breakfast food was quite good but the waitress confused our order and rather than apologize, she blamed us for not being clearer. They were also short on supplies and only provided ONE key for each room. The staff overall were friendly but we thought they needed proper management. Also, the strip upon which the hotel was located felt dirty with lots of single western men dining at restaurants serving generic western and Khmer food. Very bizarre contrast with the beautiful Khmer architecture and serene monks in yellow robes. There was also a fair amount of poverty with children begging on the streets.
Restaurant Tip: A highlight was the Friends Restaurant within walking distance and some very nice boutiques we discovered nearby. Hopefully the money from tourism will be used to address the poverty .

Great location, huge room and friendly staff

The river view location, spacious room and last but not least the friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel is situated metres away from the river where you can watch the bustling of activities happening in the early mornings and evenings across the main road from the room balcony. The suite is a long rectangular space with the living room space next to the balcony. It is separated from the working space by a king-sized bed. You can choose to eat your breakfast either in the privacy of your own room or at the restaurant on the ground floor. A check-list of breakfast items ( from western breakfasts to local favorites ) are made available for you to choose from the day before in your room. The staff are friendly and helpful that make staying in the hotel a pleasant one.
