Excellent stay
We spent there only one night on our journey to another location and we regret that. It is very homey, clean hotel with friendly staff. We are advising it 100%.

A lovely property in a prime location
A nice shophouse renovation with a set of comfortable rooms and gorgeous public areas. The location is very good; right on the waterfront and a stone's throw from the shops and food outlets of Carpenter Street. Food options in the café are limited, but that's not a problem with so many alternatives nearby. Breakfast service was occasionally a bit chaotic- possibly a combination of a full house and regular staff being away over the Eid holidays. The internet connection lags at times- probably also due to the many guests. The only disadvantage of a small property like this is the lack of facilities like a swimming pool or gym. But most visitors will get more than enough exercise walking the surrounding streets!

There weren't any hooks in the bathroom
We booked the Sylvia Suite and it was beautiful. The only problem I had was that there weren't any hooks in the bathroom to hang our towels or clothes. Also, it might be worth mentioning on the website that not all floors are accessible by the lift, because this meant that we had to carry our heavy luggages up a few flights of stairs.

Totally enjoyable!
Venue is perfect. Quiet and peaceful. Near to a shopping mall with the mid fashion brands eg h&m, cotton on, esprit, and near to good eating places where there is kolo mee, lakSA, chicken rice, Sarawak coffee and cooking class by Bambu (57 Carpenter street- ask for Joseph ). I will definitely and highly recommend this hotel to visitors.
