Very mediocre

Good size room , furniture good
Mediocre at best Front door constantly locked & made of solid steel , needed to be forced open by staff , 1 day only one on duty for all service In my room , carpet stained & smelling bad, mattress needed, air conditioners inadequate & noisy, best side light not repaired,0ther lighting inadequate. Could be a great place with maintenance & renovation, unfortunately I think neglected for years.

Terrible Hotel
Stayed for 1Night. The water from the shower head is very very weak. Need 1hour for proper shower. The room flooring is terribly dusty. The air conditioned is weak.. doesn't cool the room

i'ts ok

dark and quiet room, good size bathroom
Surrounding roads are like the stone age. Pot-holed dirt and not good when it's raining. Breakfast is terrible. Staff are un-organised and not always too helpful. A voucher system is needed for rooms booked with free breakfast because I had to assure them everyday that it was included (even offering to show my agoda receipt) . The last two days I didn't even bother with breakfast. The building is old but the rooms have a certain character. Dark and quiet for a good sleep as it's off the main road. Bed and pillows could be better. No remote for TV.

Value for money

not expensve, not far from night life district
Staff is really friendly people. But problems with Internet connection. Also in hotel stay some friendly cockroaches... They can stay with you overnight in case you were not lucky enough to find someone in Fields Ave. Cleanliness definitely should be improved a bit to avoid six legged joiners.

Budget Hotel, off the beaten track

Large rooms, Quiet Location, Excellent staff help.
Overall stay was fair, but could be better. I selected this hotel because of the low cost. I booked this hotel on very short notice (about 2 hours prior to check in). Check in was simple and straight forward. The room I was in the first night was large, but could use a bit more upkeep, but i can forgive that considering the low booking cost. The rest room was a standard size asian sized, with no issues to mention. TV reception was questionable, but the bed was comfortable. The big issue was the a/c. The unit in my room was too small to cool the large room. a fan in the room would go a long way to help cool the room. I also had breathing problem late at night due to the mold in the a/c. As a result I was moved to an upgraded room with a Jacuzzi. This room was larger than my previous, but came with the same size a/c, which meant that the room was actually warmer than my previous room. The biggest problem there was the roaches. There was a "huge" (3in/7.5cm) cockroach on the table about 30 minutes after I place some food there. This place has real potential because it is off the main street (can be scary for some because there were no light on the side road to the hotel). This place has real potential with a little investment to address the issues I mentioned.
