Could use a refurbishment and better cleaning.

Location, price, kitchenette
Fine. Wish the cleanliness was a bit higher in the shower.

Great Location, Not So Great A Stay

Location, leather couch, cupboard space
I found my stay was definitely hindered by the very uncomfortable pillows, there was no substance to these what so ever and I awoke with a very sore neck from a poor nights sleep. the toilet bowl was dirty and the sink did not drain. the cords for the blockout blinds are not able to be reached, so the east facing room was very light at 5 am despite the curtains being fully drawn. the elevators were extremely slow as only one was working and the passage way was vacuumed at 7 am. As I was awake this was not a bad thing, however it would have had I been able to sleep longer or adjust to new time zones. The air conditioner worked well, and despite looking a bit run down you could see that improvements tot he decor of the room had been made. However, I wont stay here again.

A Weekend Away

Location, cost and parking cost
Location is great, parking to book-in is a small problem. Obviously they are currently renovating as there was very visible dust on all the furniture in my room and I could see my foot prints on the carpet in the hall and at the entrance to my room. Forgetting the dust, the room was pleasant, comfortable and well appointed - having a coffee pod machine was a bonus. Finding the shower taps wrongly labelled was a little of a worry, but it was easily overcome by trial and error. Overall for price and the cheap cost of parking, the Ridge on Leichhardt is great value but 3 star not 4 star, easy down hill walk to the CBD, not as easy on the return but very manageable and I'd stay there again.

Good value for money - decent location

Location, room size and kitchenette
Decent stay, there was no tissue paper so staff needs to pay a bit more attention to detail

No reception or special needs access

Full kitchen, Aldi capsule machine in room, coin laundry
When we got there with a pram and heavy baggage, there was no one at the reception, which only opened at 1PM (closed on Sundays). When someone finally arrived, we had to carry the pram (+baby inside) and the heavy bags up the stairs, since there's no ramp or lift to enter the building. I feel sorry for someone on a wheelchair that books this place. Reception staff was friendly, too bad they have very limited hours. In the room, there was half a beer inside the microwave, which was disgustingly dirty. Don't think the half beer was a complimentary drink =) Also, one of the little shampoos was half used. Building has a nice BBQ and gym + a freezing cold swimming pool (mid September).
