Reasonable for the price in London.

Location, Cost, Friendly Staff.
Much as I expected for the price in London (£43 for a single room). No lift so it was a struggle getting my luggage up steep, narrow stairs to the 4th floor. I suggest putting what you need for your stay in a separate bag and leaving the rest in the baggage room. Room 433 was very small with a tiny (about 4ft X 4ft) en-suite bathroom cubicle in one corner. The room had an ancient Pye tv, small wardrobe and bedside locker and tea & coffee making facility. The single bed was a bit lumpy but I slept well. Breakfast was a choice of English or Continental breakfasts. My stay was in February 2015.

Nothing really Impressive

The only favourable point associated with this hotel is Only the location.
The name sounds Fantastic but contrary to that the only favourable point is that it is situated within walking distance to Paddington station. The rooms are miserably small and look a bit unclean.

You get what you pay for...

location, location, location.....
You get what you pay for. The location is just perfect, next to paddington station. However, the rooms are small, the bathrooms are even smaller. the condition of the hotel is not too good. There are no lifts and the internet-connection is really poor.

old and expensive

It was ok due to the location. Otherwise the hotel is very old and need an urgent refurbissment. The staff in general is very cold. The good side is that it is clean

New painted but still look old

Location, fair food and helpful staff
Xiaobin S. Couples China, October 22, 2014

Restroom is too small to take a shower, sprinkler was terrible, BTW. Bed was too soft, room was tiny. Location is everything, cost effective, though.
