Mosquitoes' Haven
My room was on the first floor. I spent 2 nights there with countless mosquitoes. The mosquito coil was futile. Only one power plug was working. Thus, I could either charge my laptop or power the mosquito coil. I chose the laptop. The place was not very clean - especially the carpet floor and window. The bathroom was clean though.

Dirty and old, but nice service
This place has some pretty old and worn rooms with some rather dirty things, and the service differs a lot; we (3 travellers, age 16-18) came summer 2016, and the first thing that happened was that our room wasn't available and we were upgraded for one night; we initially thought it was nice, however when we checked into the room, we discovered that the bathroom smelled kind of like a sewer, the room had a light waft of cigarette smoke and we found the kettle with some old, molded liquid inside. The beds looked wonderful and clean however, and the room was big; despite having some dirty spots on the carpet. We were initially so dissapointed and scared off we were planning to book at another hotel and leave the next morning, however the manager then came in bext morning and offered us another hotel room and we accepted; with a discount and free breakfast as an apology. Note: the cleaning lady on that floor (F5) was not nice and rude; when we went to the reception with the kettle of unimaginable forms and liquids, they promised a new kettle, however the cleaning lady appeared 1 minute after we entered our room with a wet kettle strikingly similar to the one we gave the reception; and it was too obvious that she had just washed it in water and come back with it... so we hid it in a cabinet. In the new room (which we looked at before accepting) we got harder beds, however the room was cleaner. It was nice despite bening smaller (and there was a box for valuables, unlike the big suite), and after talking to some other travellers, it seems that they had experienced the same; horrible rooms, where they afterwards then are transferred to cleaner rooms upon complaint. (F4 cleaning lady is very nice.) They clean the rooms everyday and change the towels and make the beds. The cleaning lady was incredibly helpful with any difficulties, and helped us with the box-coding since we couldn't read the chinese manual. This trip had a horrible start but ended well; we just wish the

Extended our stay
We were happy to stay another 3 nights when our departure from Beijing was delayed. We didn't take the subway but had no trouble getting taxis, and there are several malls within walking distance. The cleaning service is good-- it's the first hotel I have stayed at in China where the staff actually respects the "do not disturb" light on your door. I would definitely stay here again because its not too far from the airport but definitely in the city. It's also very quiet because its set off the main road.

Absolute disaster
Staff were so unhelpful, our room was dirty, carpets not hoovered, stains on the bed sheets and a dirty scum all over the shower, the drains in our room was blocked and the smell coming up through the the shower for 3 days was pungent.... staff did not want to hear about it, continued to pass the book to someone else but nothing ever got done. Breakfast was also a real experience but not in a good way..... I would not have paid for this hotel only it was advanced purchased nd the lady on check out proceeded to tell me that she did not speak English when I tried to explain the issues again on check out...

Amazing location but rooms not fit for tall people
Had the basement room. It's decent for the price you pay. However if you are over 5'10" you won't be able to use the toilet due to the silly construction of the toilet.
