Reconstruction materials are mostly organic and natural. Aged wood, natural stones, and salvaged ceramics were reinstated throughout the hotel. Some furniture pieces are from the era of great grandmothers. The Settlement Hotel offers a residence block of 45 standard, deluxe, and suite rooms and four Malay Malaccan-styled teak villas. Experience the rarest opportunity of a traditional Malay homestay in modern comfort. At the residences, guests are provided with high quality bedding and a pillow menu for the best sleep experience. Enjoy drinks or dining under the stars along Melaka’s longest table made of a single piece of rainforest wood. The rooftop provides pleasant and panoramic views over the Portuguese settlement and Straits of Melaka. A stay in The Settlement Hotel is an experience in an evolution of cultures and hospitality, always guaranteed to delight.

Great service

Service, large bathtub, free shuttle to Jonker Street
9
The Deluxe Queen is small but the super large bath tub makes up for it! This is a very quaint boutique hotel located within walking distance of the Portugese Settlement. On a Saturday evening, traffic to Jonker Street was bad so we decided to take the hotel's free shuttle instead of driving and be faced with parking difficulties. Slightly understaffed during peak hours but service is impeccable.

Nice boutique hotel

Amenities, quiet, comfortable
6
This boutique hotel has a nice interior design inside the room based on malaysia heritage culture.(with extra heritage charge of course but worth it). Staff were helpful and friendly to introduce the place. quite limited car park lots and difficult to find. Spa center was under staffed.
