Hotel Description

Ancient Thai houses have been reassembled on the river’s edge as intimate restaurants. Behind them, the enormous property opens up via wide pathways and stairs. You walk past luxury villas with their own private courtyards and bathing pools through to the main inner covered court. Here, three tiers of beautifully appointed rooms rise up around a huge reflecting pool with enormous banana trees. There is a massive Moroccan-style, sunken courtyard surrounded by a spa and treatment rooms of princely portions. Scale, in fact, is the theme here, as it is in most Bensley-designed hotels. The public area takes up far more space than the residential with only 39 rooms in this entire property. All the various buildings are studded with antique details that have been incorporated into the design. Ancient doors, pillars, window-frames, screens, door-handles, and so on are all functional parts of the design, as are one-of-a-kind pieces of furniture, sculptures, and extremely rare free-standing pieces just there to blow your mind. If you’re looking for Asian-inspired hospitality, look no further than The Siam Hotel.

Food, staff
Was average in my opinion considering the cost. I think at what Siam charges you should be "wowed" I've received the same level of service and amenities at a 4 star - I would say the food was exceptional.

Weekend in Bangkok

personal attention and assistance with our plans while in Bangkok, bold, beautiful unique interior, made the most of its quiet riverside location
Just perfect, nothing was too much trouble, although to the north of most sightseeing spots the private boat made the river journey a treat and got you away from the busy city to relax and enjoy their riverside pool, bar and restaurant - a special place

Very enjoy !

staff very nice and helpful , view is so beautiful, room is comfortable
Definitely will stay again in next time. Room is comfortable but the shower room is a little bit old. But the bathtub is very good!! Love the fruit and will refill everyday! Staff is so helpful and nice. Only the location is not very good for taxi driver. Many driver not know this hotel is so hard to take a taxi. But the vessel shuttle is very good!

Best Hotel I've ever been

room condition, room decoration, hotel interior
I was very impressivee about this hotel. I used to live in Bkk, but I didn't know about this hotel. My wife told me the siam hotel is the best in Bkk, so I booked. Definitely the hotel is the best I've ever been and seen. Excellent room condition, decoration, and hotel interior. Staffs are very kind more than I've experienced before from the other hotels
